Season 2 Allie crack theory [book spoilers]

‼️ BOOK SPOILERS BELOW ‼️

A huge part of Dean’s book is Beau’s sudden car accident death, and I keep wondering if the show might change it so Allie is in the car with him when it happens.

Especially because they seem to be building a friendship between Beau and Allie already. It feels like the kind of change a TV adaptation would make to raise the emotional stakes.

It also makes me think about this exchange from episode 5:

Allie: “I’m Yasmina in season two of Al Nisa Alashba.”

Hannah: “Doesn’t she fall into a coma for most of that season?”

Could be nothing, but it stood out to me immediately.

My guess is that Dean & Allie will be the main romance of season two, with Grace & Logan as the secondary subplot, like how Dean & Allie were handled in season one.

This theory is mostly vibes and me thinking about how I’d adapt Dean & Allie’s book for TV, but I honestly think it could add a lot more emotional weight to the story.

What do you guys think?

Off Campus x Bryceriel Parallel 🎶

Anyone else loving the new Off Campus show?

Off Campus spoiler: Hannah shares some music she likes with Garrett, the guy she’s fake dating to get her crush’s attention. The next day, Garrett is shown looking up the same band on Spotify, subtly showing how naturally in sync they are and foreshadowing that they’re meant to be.

Similarly, in HOFAS, Bryce shares her “Midgard music” with Nesta and Azriel, and later Azriel is shown humming Bryce’s favourite song that carried her through her life’s hardest moments. Out of all the many songs Bryce played, Azriel connected with her favourite.

Music quietly foreshadowing future love interests in every universe 🖤
