From Titans #35

I was disappointed, tbh. I thought they were going to talk about the kiss. During the writer's AMA, he told us to wait and see how things would go, as if they were going to talk more about it, but nothing happened. (It feels like the writer was told to rewrite it at the last minute?) But oh well, at least I got Dickkory butt crumbs and it could have been worse. I'll just think this is better than a panel of them saying they don't love each other or any disrespectful things about their relationship to prop up Dickbabs.

Every single book from the Picolo/Kami YA series made it to the New York Times Best Selling list and won awards. if they adapt this into a cartoon series it will create a new generation of TT Fans.

It seems that the writer of the Nothing Butt Nightwing Webtoon series was implied to have been mandated by Editorial not to include Starfire in the series.

He said he prefers Dickkory too but why did he never write Kory in the book???

Edit: (the artist was the dickkory shipper but strange how he and the writer are ignoring her in their series)

"Starfire may not appear"

They put Dick with everyone except Kory. In the recent issue, Raven, Cyborg and Donna will appear, yet there’s still no sign of Kory. Dick was a model in the series, so it would have made sense to see him interact with Kory in the modeling industry since she is canonically a model as well. But Bat-editorial being insecure and threatened by her for no reason as usual. 😐

Bat-editorial is worse than Spiderman editorial. At least they allow Peter to interact with MJ and acknowledge their past relationship, even if they broke them up. Bat-editorial on the other hand, loves to pretend Kory never existed in his life. They erased his history with Kory in canon and they're doing the same in Elseworld stories.

When Dickbabs shippers call Dickkory toxic because Dick cheated on Kory but it was the Dickbabs writer who wrote him cheating on her.

DickKory writers Marv Wolfman and George Perez had nothing to do with that. They only wrote Dick and Kory together from 1980 to 1994.

Nightwing Annual #2, the comic where Dick cheated on Kory with Barbara was a retcon that was only written in 2007, decades after Dick went back under Bat-editorial control. It was a comic dedicated to supporting Dick and Barbara's relationship at the expense of retconning his past relationship with Starfire into a sexual fling to make Barbara the "one true love" through invented retcons and flashbacks that originally never happened and asassinating Dick's character along the way even though Marv Wolfman and George Perez originally wrote him as a loyal boyfriend to Kory and a self confessed monogamous, one-woman man with her.

Now, Dickbabs shippers are blaming Dickkory for the mess Dickbabs writers created .

The audacity and entitlement of this fandom have wow just wow.

Even the Creator of Starfire thinks she looks human.

Take note of this People who attacked the cartoon design of Starfire or complain about Starfire looking human as an alien. And those who harassed Picolo. These are the exact words from her own original designer himself. Humanoid aliens are still aliens.

DC has turned the Teen Titans into a Batfamily-related group

New Titans just added Stephanie Brown to the team, and the Titans cover introducing her is a Bat-theme. 😒 I’m worried Dick’s gonna get sidelined as leader to push her martial arts and leadership skills. There’s also a new Titans series where Red Hood is the leader/mentor

Honestly, I’m scared the Batfamily is taking over the Teen Titans franchise. I hate seeing too many Batcharacters in Titans because the actual Titans end up being overshadowed by them. The only one I want there is Dick. He’s a founding member and he literally created the team to be independent from Batman and do something on his own outside the Batfamily but now they’re ruining his space by having the rest of the Batfamily follow him there too. Maybe Tim and Damian as Robins is also fine but that's it. It should be no more than that.

We know DC has a reputation for always hurting their other characters by sidelining them and putting Batman first, now they're also making the Gotham people take over the Titans franchise. It's so frustrating.

A lot of people mostly DickBabs shippers got really angry and accused Titans #33 of committing non-consensual SA and victim-blaming Dick, but DickBabs writers did the same and they never complained about it

I didn't post this to justify Titans #33 but to point out the hypocrisy. ‎

‎In 2017, they released a DickBabs team-up comic. In this story, Dick and Defacer had just broken up, and he was clearly depressed because he was still in love with her. But what did Barbara do? She disregarded his space and boundaries and initiated a non-consensual kiss even though he never asked for it. She kissed him twice, the second time, she even put her arm around his neck to pull him in and deepen the kiss. ‎ ‎Then the Dickbabs writer victim blamed Dick by having him say that “they were both not thinking about it," even though it wasn’t his fault, Barbara initiated the kiss. She also wanted him to sleep in the same bed as her which made her come off as desperate, like she was ready to throw herself at him the moment she found out he had broken up with a woman, even though Dick never gave any indication that he wanted that. ‎

‎I find their reaction to Titans #33 ironic and hypocritical. Barbara did the same thing they accused Kory of doing. People didn't complain when Barbara sexually assaulted Dick without his content but when something similar happens in a Dickkory context, they suddenly act outraged and take the moral high ground,  we don’t even have the full context of DickKory's kiss, we should wait for the next issue before making final judgments. Dick and Kory will most likely address the kiss.

‎ ‎I’m not saying DickBabs shippers are the only group who complained about the book, I'm just saying DickBabs are not in the best position to condemn DickKory. It comes across as "pot calling the kettle black"

‎ ‎This is not only instance of DickBabs comics having borderline sexual trauma/assault. ‎

-‎In 1970, Barbara as a 25 year-old woman initiated a non-consensual kiss with Dick when he was still a young boy. Then Barbara admitted to preying/having fetish for little boys. This is why Editorial had to age down Barbara so they can get away from the Grooming and Pedophile allegations.

‎ ‎-During her 90's Oracle era, she installed secret spy cameras all around Dick’s house without him knowing that, so she can enjoy oggling his naked body and private moments everyday. This sexual crime is called voyerism. ‎ ‎

-‎After Dick was sexually assaulted and r*ped by Tarantula, he came home traumatized but Barbara responded by victim-blaming him and accusing him of having feelings for Tarantula. ‎

‎ ‎-Barbara stripped Dick off his clothes without his consent, while he was unconscious and then jokes about seeing him naked, her actions come across as insensitive towards Dick who had history of sexual trauma. ‎Note they are not even in a relationship here. Imagine if the genders were reversed.

I just don’t get how they gloss over the crimes in Dickbabs but they become the loudest moral activists out there when it’s Dickkory.
