What to do with IDP players who are out for the season and few IR spots

I have Brian Burns, who is out for the season with an ACL injury. There are three IR spots and I don’t know if it’s worth holding him with all my other injured players. And I don’t know how he might perform next year after the injury, or if the Giants trade or draft anyone to take his place.

The league is not Big 3 scoring, so IDP players aren’t really as impactful as offense. But he is/was one of the best. I don’t think anyone would want to trade for him now. Would you drop him in my situation?

MSI Afterburner OC Scanner - display off?

I want to try the NV UV software, and it seems like you’re supposed to do the Afterburner OC scanner first and import that. When I tried it the other day it was going to take over an hour. I don’t want my OLED monitor to stay on a static screen like that. And it’s set to go to sleep after a few minutes anyway. So can I run the scanner with my monitor turned off, or will that affect the results? (since my monitor takes a fair bit of power)

I know a manual OC curve is preferred. I’ve already set one up. I just want to test it with NV UV, which seems to recommended doing the scanner first.

Snake plant yellowing leaves

I have this recurring problem with my snake plants. They slowly die one plant at a time. The leaves turn yellow and fall over, and then I can easily pull them out.

This one it looks like the yellowing has begun at the top of the leaf and worked its way down. I’d assume root rot, but I hardly ever water it. Maybe like once every month or two? It is next to a South facing window but does not get much light. The soil feels dry to the touch as far as I can stick my finger in, but maybe the very bottom of the pot stays too moist. Or maybe I don’t water it enough or it needs fertilizer? I really don’t know.

For such a supposedly easy to care for plant, it’s the only one I have continual problems with. This is the second one I’ve had in this location, and it’s a few years old. I had another one before, and it slowly died one at a time too.

Rat tailed maggots in my mosquito bucket of doom

I’m trying the mosquito bucket of doom for the first time. It seems to be working well. I’ve noticed some rat tailed maggots in there. I know that they turn into hover flies, which are beneficial pollinators. So I don’t mind them at all. Will they be able to climb out of the buckets when they’re ready to pupate, or are the slick plastic sides a problem?

I have hydroponic baskets as a lid. So there’s little slits in the lid. I’ve put some sticks through the holes if it helps. I just don’t want to trap them in there since they’re beneficial.

Oven door won’t lock shut

The oven light stays on if the door is not fully closed. For the last few weeks it would need to be closed multiple times before the light would go off, sometimes aggressively slammed shut. Now it doesn’t stay closed at all, the light is always on. Sometimes if I stand there pushing against it the light will go off, but it immediately comes back on when I let go.

I have read about the towel trick, but I don’t think the bottom hinges or springs are the issue. I think it’s the latch at the top, the one that controls the automatic light. There is a grating noise there whenever the door is opened and closed. I’ve noticed today that this slot in the door where it is supposed to lock into looks like the metal is worn and actually broken. Is this fixable?
