Package Stuck in Customs, FedEx asking for more information
I have a package I ordered from a Japanese proxy service around two weeks ago that's been stuck in US customs for more than a week now. The tracking tells me that I need to upload additional custom clearance information, however every time I have spoken to someone at FedEx they've told me the only additional thing I needed to submit was the package invoice, which I have already sent them and they've confirmed over the phone that they've received and submitted.
I'm concerned that this is all stemming from the new restrictions the US is implementing on importing toys next month, as that's pretty much all the package contains. From what I understand that's not supposed to actually go through until the 8th of next month, though. Either way it has me nervous that if the package doesn't clear customs by then, it never will.
I plan on contacting FedEx again at some point today, but I was wondering if anyone has any additional information or advice on what I should ask them, or if this is something I'll need to get in contact with customs over.
