Conflicted on what to buy

I currently have a pc setup with a 32” g80SD. I am thinking of buying a TV as a secondary “monitor” for general movie/tv watching and single player story games where I would sit on a recliner rather than at the desk. My desk is 78.74 inches wide and 35.43 inches deep. So the max tv I can fit (barely fit) is 55”, while ideally 48” or under would be better.

Unfortunately I am in Bahrain and TV availability and pricing is kind of whack here. Tvs 55” or under are very rare in the region, usually they are 65” or over.

Currently I am weighing these options:

- LG C5 55” bought locally for $1643. Convenience for warranty/returns as it is local.

- S90F 55” for $1372 including shipping and import tax, shipped from UAE. Store offers 1 year warranty, and covers shipping costs for warranty work, but some say customer service is a pain to deal with. QA55S90FAUXZN, seems in this region 55” is most likely a WOLED, but I am hanging onto a slight hope it turns out to be QD-oled.

- LG C6 48” from B&H (shipped from US) for $1911 including shipping and tax import. No return policy by B&H on TVs, unless it is defective, might be a pain to deal with any returns/warranty issues. But ideal size for my desk and tandem panel.

-LG G5 65” from Amazon Saudi for $1694 which I can ship to my cousin house and go and take it (1 hour and a half drive from Bahrain to their house in Saudi). While a G5 for this price is insanely tempting, I am not sure I can fit a 65” in my room unfortunately. Unless I wall mount it maybe? Would be a headache to sort out.

- LG C4 48” for $1221 also from Amazon Saudi.

Or none of these and wait for a store in Saudi called Extra which is also an hour and a half drive from where I live (Bahrain) to restock c5 or c6 in 48” or 55”. But 55” and 48” seem to be incredibly rare in Saudi, I am not sure how long the wait will be and if they ever do bring them. LG saudi official site shows 65” as the smallest size for the c6… (but I did see some stores list 55” C5 as out of stock).

I am leaning towards the S90F the most, but worried about having it shipped from UAE and the potential warranty/returns headache.

Opinions on MWIM?

I used to invest in non halal etfs and figured I need to stop that, so a year ago I sold them all and was planning on reinvesting them. Well I’ve been sitting on cash for a bit more than a year now and I’ve been feeling incredibly guilty sitting on cash for that long.

Well I am sitting on a lump sum now, and while I know mathematically time in market always beats DCA, I still am thinking of DCAing for peace of mind. Especially seeing how investing a few days ago at the insane run the market had would have had my portfolio looking like a bloodbath today. So I might split it into 4-5 transactions every 2-3 months or so. Then in the future I’ll be saving a portion of my salary and investing it every 3-4 months.

So I started looking at investing again, but looking at halal etfs now. I was initially planning on getting 60% IGDA 30% ISDW 10% Hiies. Then found out about MWIM which does all that in basically one fund and is a cleaner way of doing it. But with it being brand new, 3 months old only, worries me about its liquidation in the future. But are the worries warranted? Or is it safe considering it is backed by invesco, and following a 10 year old benchmark that does have a history of performance?

I am considering doing 90% MWIM now and 10% gold, but etf being brand new is making me hesistant, so any thoughts on the matter?

Mods list, still 1 year left on warranty

I still have a year left on my limited warranty, but I am itching to start modding the car. Thinking of starting to do subtle ones that aren’t obvious. I am not in the US, and here in my country any mod voids warranty, it doesn’t have to be the cause of the problem. (Technically I also have lifetime warranty on engine and transmission, not including wear and tear parts, but I am thinking of ignoring that warranty and voiding it).

I am thinking of doing the following mods:

Phase 1:
- Mando ecs-10
- BMS Differential brace
-ATQ Subframe collars

Phase 2:
- JB4 and HKS spark plugs
- Oil catch can
- Takeda intakes, or keep stock intakes and just get velossa snorkels to keep car looking oem.
- Since I am in a very hot/humid country where temperatures reach 40-50 celsius.(and dusty) I might need to upgrade the intercooler if I run JB4 map2? Or no need?

Phase 3:
- Konig oversteers (cast) or konig ampliform (flow forged). Not sure whether to go 18” or 19”. But I need wider wheels on rear most likely, so I can run tires wider than 265. As on RWD I break traction on 265s even on stock power.
- Maybe swaybars for better handling? Painted black to look oem.

Would appreciate thoughts and suggestions on listed mods or any others I missed. Also any feedback on things like Mando, subframe collars, and differential brace, are they worth it?
