We need the option to choose between different feeds. MLB can do it. Both broadcasts and radio feeds and we’re stuck watching whichever one is chosen. I want to hear about my team not the opponent in pre season.
So I started the tutorial and one thing I’m confused about so far is the amount of people I need on jobs. The tutorial said 9x9 plot for a farm should be enough work for one farmer and I need to make enough farms for 5 farmers so I made two 18x18 and one 9x9. The 9x9 is fine, one dude works it to 100% efficiency it seems. My 18x18 had 4 workers and space for 6.
Obviously I’m super new and I get the math won’t be 1 for 1 when it comes to sizing like that but is there a specific logic I should follow when making buildings or workplaces and their sizes?
I know a fair amount about the NFL but one thing I can’t wrap my head around is some of the defensive “sets”.
4-3 makes sense. 4 down linemen and 3 LB 2CB 2S.
3-4 is just a 4-3 but one edge doesn’t have his hand in the dirt and is more likely to drop into coverage? But it’s never only 3 rushing. Confuses me.
Nickel is one LB off and one CB on, Dime is 2 LB off and another CB on again? What’s the difference between nickel and 3-3-5 or 4-2-5 do one of them have an extra safety in but then I thought that was just big nickel.
Then you have easy ones like mug and double mug just putting backers on the LOS. But sometimes under nickel you’ll have other sets that confuse me. This all comes from trying to learn college ball as a UK fan and CFB is helpful but man I just don’t get half the sets on defence at all.
I know now isn’t the time to be requesting features this big when they can’t release a game that works but multiple other games have this and it would make fm so much more enjoyable.
Dynamic ratings. Players like John McGinn weren’t world class in the championship but have shown themselves capable in Europe. I’m not sure potential can really showcase something like that. Let’s say a 28 year old player has an amazing season but he’s a 2* player, he’s provided a bunch of assists and his passing was brilliant. He should get a big boost to passing/vision and any other stats to show his good season. Now you have to choose to sell high or trust he’s going to keep performing like that next season and risk a drop off.
Leon Bailey had an incredible season to get his new contract. You could say a 3.5* player. Since that contract he’s been a 2.5* player at best. His stats should show that. It would mean we would have to search for a player who’s had a bad season and his stats have dropped slightly and choose if that’s a age decline or bad fit for the team and could play better for you.
I think it would add more to scouting and reflect the big changes that can happen between seasons.
The ending of C1 had vecna’s hand being taken by the guest. I don’t need to know when or where but I’m curious if that ever gets brought back up or resolved or if it was just flavour.
