What's little zen?

I found the github branch, and I'm curious about the specifics.

  1. So the plan is to have an independent search bar? Sort of like KDE's KRunner? It looks similar to KRunner.

  2. What is it planned for? Windows and Mac make sense, but because of Krunner, I'm not too sure about Linux (although a setting is always an option of course).

  3. It says "System-wide shortcuts". What else is planned?

Coat advice

I gonna be honest, I basically want the Musterbrand Vigilante 2.0 (which is an official replica of the coat Aiden Pearce wears in the game Watch Dogs). But because they're no longer made, replicas aren't really an option because I neither wanna pay a massive markup (the original price of $200+ would've already been iffy for me, although absolutely worth it if it lasts 12 years "looking basically brand new" like I've seen some people say), nor do I want to risk it with unofficial ones.

I don't really care that much about the exact coat either. But when looking for coats, it's seemingly always either form over function (stuff labeled "Utility trench coat" with seemingly no pockets for example), or just purely function with no consideration for looks or comfort (aka just slapping some big vertical pockets on the side that would be uncomfortable to actually reach into). Or it already looks bad in the promotional material.

I honestly think the most important part of the style: no lapel (but still with a collar).

is Secret Service Integration planned?

For anyone unaware, Secret Service is an API that allows Linux apps to store passwords or something. That's how storing wifi passwords works for example (i think). But, being an API, it also requires a program to actually handle the passwords (Programs like Kwallet, GNOME Keyring, or KeePassXC).

I wanted to try the CachyOS kernel, saw the real time kernel, thought "I'm frustrated with the audio delay when using loopback to hear myself, and I've heard a real time kernel can help with that", so I went with that.

Bad idea. The Kernel shit itself when trying to boot. And dnf remove doesn't actually remove it. You also have to do "rpm -e --nodeps $(rpm -qa | grep cachyos)", which took a little while to find.

I am now using the standard Cachy kernel, and it's working perfectly (at least for now).

When using fancy kernels, just use the standard option for that kernel. special options are special for a reason.

Edit: Actually, little correction for the message: don't be stupid. When doing big changes (like changing Kernel), have a boot stick ready. And if you try something new, don't try 50 things at once.
