Hi, ich Frage mich seit einiger Zeit schon, wie Menschen die von Geburt an Gehörlos sind, denken, also genauer in welcher Sprache. Oder überhaupt in einer Sprache? Im Internet konnte nicht wirklich viel finden, und habe auch hier im Subreddit keinen entsprechenden Post gefunden. Für mich, und wahrscheinlich euch die diesen Post hier Lest, und in der Lage seid zu hören ist das ja selbstverständlich auf z.B. Deutsch oder Englisch zu denken. Daher rührt meine Frage.

Unabhängig von der eigentlichen Frage, frage ich mich auch wie Gehörlosen Menschen Gebärdensprache beigebracht wird. Das habe ich allerdings noch nicht recherchiert und kam mir jetzt nur beim Schreiben dieses Posts in den Sinn.

Wenn ich irgendeine Regel gebrochen habe oder in irgendeiner Art und Weise jemanden beleidigt, verletzt habe oder sonst was gemacht was nicht okay ist, entschuldige ich mich, und bitte euch mich auf meine(n) Fehler aufmerksam zu machen.

Hi, as the title states, I seem to have a problem uploading ePubs to Google Play Books. I don't want to publish anything, but only read for myself. Now the problem:

I recently came hold off an ePub I wanted to read for a long time, and chose Google Play Books for the place to read it on, by uploading it from my local storage. Everything worked fine, until after the point where the download/upload finished. It says the down-/upload is finished, but then it just says "in progress", and I cant open the book. Now I am asking myself and reddit here if there is a page limit, because the book has over 11.000 pages. The file is roundabout 100MB big. Is this limit a thing, or is it another issue?

Hi, I am considering subscribing to an author on Patreon. They're advertising their patreon with 10 chapters ahead of a free site where they are uploading the novel for the cheapest option, or 30 chapters ahead for the next and most expensive option. The thing is, on Patreon there are like a hundred chapter more than on the free side. Since I really want to read these chapters, I decided to buy the subscription, even though the money sits tight. But now I am asking myself, do I get to read all released chapters on Patreon with the cheapest option, or do I need to buy the more expensive option to read everything?

Since money sits tight with me, I would prefer the cheaper option if I can read all chapters.

Hi, I currently hear the song The greatest show from Panic! At the Disco, and the first few seconds remind me of a song I liked a few years ago, but I can't find it in any of my playlists.

To be exact it's the 2 seconds beginning at the seventh second, and lasts until the ninth second. These two seconds remind me of another song so much that I almost am going crazy over which song it is. I only remember that the beginning of the song I am searching for is almost exactly like those 2 seconds.

Updates sind gut. Es wird die Sicherheit des Geräts verbessert und all das. Das finde ich gut. Aber warum ändert man mit jedem Scheiß Update das UI? Welchen Sinn hat das? Und noch viel schlimmer, warum zum fick zwingt irgendeine Kack App die ich noch nicht mal in den Einstellungen unter Apps finde, mich dazu drei Random Apps runterzuladen? Es wird dir ja sogar noch vorgegaukelt am Anfang auswählen zu können welche Apps du runterladen möchtest. (Wenn du die lädtige Benachrichtigung weg haben willst, musst du das tun!)

Aber selbst wenn du alle Abwählst, und auf fortfahren klickst, fängt der an irgendwelche Apps runterzuladen. Bei jedem scheiß Update. Sei es ein Sicherheits Update oder keine Ahnung was. Warum ist das so? Man kann den Download auch nur abbrechen in dem man das Internet ausmacht. Jetzt habe ich die Otto App, Block blast und noch irgendeine App, die ich sofort wieder deinstalliere. Hätte ich diese Apps gewollt, dann hätte ich sie mir doch schon längst heruntergeladen.

Ich hab's irgendwie geschafft diese Komische App die die anderen Apps ohne meine Zustimmung herunterlädt zu deaktivieren und ihr alle Berechtigungen entzogen. Aber wahrscheinlich werden die beim nächsten Update wieder aktiviert bzw. hinzugefügt. Ich hasse es.
