Why under spot?
Why is this under spot? I am thinking about buying this. I just wanna make sure I’m not making a rookie mistake, as I am new to buying Gould.

10ish oz of fine, and some pocket change. The Wilmington trust is my latest silver pick-up, and was a literal barn find. Of all the places in the world I bought this coin out of a barn in Delaware from a super cool older guy. He looked up the spot price and sold it to me for $70,aI buck under spot at the time. Turns out it lists for $260ish on APMEX, and one with similar toning is being listed for $1000 on eBay. That’s craziness.
The gold is the monument metals random 1/4 oz sovereigns deal. It’s my first gold and my only requirement was 9999 fine gold. I bought the most recent dip and I’m happy with my randoms minus the Harp on the seal of the Guinea.
Hey there, I finally started the gold journey. I did a ton of research and waited until the iron was cool and bought the dip. Monument had a deal for 1/4 oz sovereigns at $1022 and I was not confident that it was going to go lower. So I decided to buy two of those as it was actually cheaper than a half ounce random sovereign of the same 9999 gold.
What was sent: 2023 Tuvalu American Bald Eagle & 1/4 ounce Guinea. The Tuvalu says 25 Dollars & the Guinea says £25. I can’t find any info on my Tuvalu coin. If you search “American”, “gold” and “eagle” the only things that come up is for American gold Eagles. My coin happens to say American bald eagle on it so I’m getting looped in with that search.
The only info I could find on the Tuvalu gold was its it’s made by the Perth mint, and they are generally highly sought after but I believe the ones that are highly sought after are their custom coins like the Homer Simpson coin and the James Bond coin.
I’m pretty sure I just got melt and nothing special but it would be awesome if you guys would have a look. I knew I was going to be underwhelmed by the size but the American bald eagle is about the size of a penny. It’s small. But whatever, that small is worth 1000 bucks right? Thanks for looking guys, have an awesome day!
