London - good or bad idea to work at FG for free food?

A burger + shake + fries is easily £25+ at FG. I’m thinking that instead of spending that every week, what if I just work there and do 1 or 2 shifts a week to get free foods and drinks?

Good or bad idea? I have 2 jobs already and work on average a combined 50-55hours per week. So the main issue is if FG will let me have a flexible schedule and allow maybe 10 hours a week of part time work.

This morning I woke up to an email telling me my GRC was granted.

It took way less time than I thought, it’s just been 2 months since I submitted it.

For those who don’t know,

“A Gender Recognition Certificate (GRC) legally recognises your affirmed (acquired) gender in the UK. It updates your birth certificate and affects marriage, pension, and inheritance rights.”

Outside of celebrating this privately (because I’m a stealth trans man), what practical next steps should I take? I cannot update my passport or birth certificate as these are not issued by the UK government. I do have employment.

How do I make my comfort food as nutritious as possible?

I am struggling with foods recently due to being more stressed, and I find it hard to have anything that’s not linguine.

The way I cook linguine is sort of like aglio e olio, but I don’t put the chili or the parsley because of the texture. I like it very glossy and smooth.

Obviously this is not sustainable as it’s just oil and salt and black pepper and carbohydrates. There’s basically no nutrients inside.

So, ways to make my meal more nutritious? I cannot add cheese to it because it ruins the glossy texture by making it creamy.

Some common things I think people would suggest but I cannot tolerate recently: cheese, seafood, milk, egg, tofu, tomatoes, celery, any plant based meat, fruits (and yes unfortunately all of them), bread, oats, mash (I can have chips and crisps but again not nutritious), most forms of meat, sweet things.

This is actually quite concerning and I really need some ideas, thanks in advance.
