Anyone on UA918 IAD-LHR?

What’s the status? It’s been delayed for more than 12 hrs and it’s still showing 30 min delayed departure every 30 min. Have you all boarded or there’s still no crew?

Frankfurt/ EU- EES

Be prepared to reach any EU destination like Frankfurt early because of the recent Entry/Exit system at passport control. Crazy crowds, missed connections like mine because of this new system. They make you scan fingerprints and take a photo which takes at least 5-7 mins per passenger which is creating chaos! Suggest to have minimum 2hr layover time to get past this.

Been away from my country and parents for over 25 years, but extremely close to them. My Dad passed away late January suddenly after being admitted in the hospital for a week. I was by his side (truly blessed) when he took his last breath (this memory keeps coming back to me).

The last 2 days he was sleeping through it and on the last day before he passed, me and my brother were begging him to wake up, think of the good times etc and while sleeping tears welled down his eyes. We were holding his hand and talking to him. Want to know what was he thinking and what he wanted to say to us. Is he in a better place and looking down and guiding us..
