Two iPhones each with one line; Any downsides to each being on a different network?

I will be signing up for US Mobile service shortly, two iPhone 12 Pro Max (my wife and I), each with its own line with 10Gb shared data pool.

I am considering having one phone on Dark Star and the other on Light Speed, for testing purposes and hopefully always having at least one phone that works wherever we are.

Any downsides to our phones being on different networks? Are there any benefits to having both phones on the same network?

New Customer: When do I select the network plan when signing up?

I am close to signing up with US Mobile and am being asked to give credit card information with no option to select which network plan I wish.

Does this happen AFTER I sign up and pay?

If I select Dark Star, when does the option for the QCI 8 add-on appear?

Dark Star with QCI 8 add-on vs Light Speed default QCI 7

I am about to switch from Mint Mobile (T-Mobile) to U.S. Mobile and am trying to decide between Dark Star (normally QCI 9 with QCI 8 add-on optional) and Light Speed QCI 7.

Is there any way to evaluate the difference between two different services QCI rankings in real-world use?

USAA wants to send me to Safelite for Windshield Repair

So. USAA wants to send me to Safelite for a windshield replacement.

Do I want to go there? Do I have to go there?

2020 Mazda CX5-Signature with Heads-Up Display and other sensors in the windshield.

I heard a loud snap will driving home on the freeway yesterday. Didn't see anything on the windshield. Today while driving I noticed an 8" crack in the lower left corner of the windshield. Don't know if I got hit by a small rock or it just cracked from the heat.

Insurance company is USAA. Tried to fill out a claim for replacement online and it sent me to a phone number. Phone number turned out to be Safelite.

Safelite gets a bad rap online, but don't know if that is deserved or just the case that only the bad happenings get reported.

Anyone with experience with USAA as to whether I have to go with Safelite for a Mazda OEM replacement glass?

Or experience with Mazda OEM replacement glass from Safelite regardless of insurance company?

Do I insist on "Mazda Glass" or "OEM Glass", if there is any difference?

How long does it take to receive and activate a physical SIM

I am considering switching from a different carrier to Mint Mobile for my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I plan to keep my same phone number.

How long before my next monthly bill from the other carrier is due should I order a Mint Mobile physical SIM to ensure than I have a minimum of down time?

When does the MM plan take effect? When I order the SIM? When the number is ported? When I activate the SIM?
