My reaction after hearing Michael just hit A BILLION IN THE BOX OFFICE...

First of all, I just wanna say, "We did it! We did it! ¡Lo hicimos! We did it!"

I know I did my part by seeing the movie THREE TIMES (along with my mother; my father only saw it once, but... it's the thought that counts, right?).

After hearing Michael got that BILLIE JEAN...

Michael has passed 5 billion yen ($31m) in Japan after just 25 days

Source mtt_75058 on X. The graph compares this with Bohemian Rhapsody, another music biopic which famously performed incredibly well, which reached 10 billion yen in 75 days - Michael has already reached half that in just 1/3 of the time.

Michael will also get at least 4 more bonus collectable cards paired with tickets, releasing every 2 weeks up to the end August, so it'll be earning for a while still.
