Beware when walking underneath lifts
This little glitch cost me 19k Gloom that was still sitting in the boss room after I died there and was on my way back

It doesn't look like latency or package loss or anything since they smoothly transitioned from two- to one-handing right after killing me and then into the emote.
It looks like they somehow used Spinning Weapon back-to-back without the visual showing.
Honestly can't tell if they were stacking absorption debuff Talismans or using some cheat to be one-shot by anything. I think the lowest absorption reachable with Talismans alone is -119.7 with additionally double damage taken (Beloved Stardust, Crucible Feather Talisman, Talisman of All Crucibles, Daedicar's Woe)
I only remembered once the fight was over, so there's a lot of my own mediocre meddling in the fight. The soldiers performed a lot better than expected in this fight
I thought it was finally time, I've never had an opportunity like this before
It's good to be back.
Time for a 6th playthrough after so long
My main theory is that Bleed has some sort of special interaction with Soul Flay, like maybe the damage ticks from Bleed are all buffered up and happen simultaneously as soon as the Soul Flay duration ends. But even for that, it's too much damage normally.
No dual Grinning Axes, no Pieta's, no Bloody Glory, no Wither Fungus Axes.
I want to see unique builds that don't pop up as the first result when searching for "most op build" on YouTube.
For me, it's just a basic Sword 'n Board setup with the Assassin's Bow as the ranged weapon, the Shield of the Moonlit Emissary for guarding and parries, and the Left-hand Bringer of Stillness Sword for Frostbite to take out chunks of the posture bar.
But I know there are more unique things people have done that are surprisingly fun, so give me yours.
Was panicking hard because of increased Rain damage, a few minutes later I even fumbled and didn't take the Red Godslayer Greatsword that was my whole goal the entire run, because it was right in the rain
Fastest death I've experienced and first death in the starter camp in a very long time. Did make me chuckle, though.
This fight has been so annoying on Veteran Mode with all the previous builds I did it with and Radiance nearly one-cycled him while my gameplay was sloppy
Veteran difficulty with +4 weapons on NG
