Tippmann M4-22 first shots

I received my new Tippmann M4-22 Elite yesterday. It felt like Christmas and I couldn't make myself wait until the weekend. So, I field stripped it and gave it a little oil, slapped on my scope, and headed to the PSA indoor range.

EDIT: The scope is a GPO 4-16x44i FFP MRAD from Optics Planet. Never heard of GPO before I bought this one a few months ago, but I think it is awesome! OPMOD on the side means it's an Optics Planet exclusive model.

I put 100 rounds of Winchester M-22 through it, to start. Basically, just slow-ish mag dumps to break it in some. It had a few hiccups in the first mag or two and then ran like a top for the rest of the night.

Next, I put 50 rounds of Remington Subsonic (which is actually standard velocity of 1050fps - which IS subsonic) through it while I started dialing in zero on the scope. First at 15 yards and then moved my target out to 25 yards.

All of this was with the rifle just balanced on a bag on the little bench they have in each lane. No rear support other than my shoulder with me sitting in a chair. And that stock trigger, which feels like about a 6# pull. That trigger is a workout.

Finally, I put 10 rounds of SK Rifle Match through it. 2 x 5 round groups.

The first picture of a target is that first group. The flyer was the very first round I shot after switching from the Remington ammo.

The last picture is the second group. It makes me happy. :D

Time to put in the good AR trigger I have laying around.

My bipod for it should arrive tomorrow and then it will be time to take it outdoors and zero the scope properly at 50 yards.
