At what point do brake sounds become a problem?

I’ve read about the generally normal brake sounds for this vehicle, but I’m curious at what point they are concerning or worth a check-up.

I have a new to me CPO 2024 xDrive50 that is a dream to drive. The only gripe is the squeaking, high-pitch whining, and grinding/scrubbing brake sounds when creeping (especially when leaving my driveway in the mornings).

The sounds are embarrassing and sometimes worrisome, like when I put it in park and hear an additional grinding sound for a second.

Should I just go get them checked out? I also keep auto hold on - does that make it worse? I only drive in D mode so I do use the actual brake pedal semi-frequently.

Thanks!

My custom pink lab diamond ring with our birthstones :)

The main stone is a ~2ct oval pink lab diamond from Calavera and the side stones are lab green sapphire (his birthstone) and peridot (my birthstone).

In love with the ring and my new fiancé ☺️

ETA: ring size - 6.25 (a little roomy so might size down in the future). 14k yellow gold!

Put down a deposit & sign buyer’s order, but have to wait a week+. Can the dealership sell the car to someone else?

Location: Pennsylvania, US
Car location: New York, US
Dealership: BMW

I recently found a BMW CPO vehicle that fit my requirements at a great price. The dealership is ~200 miles (4 hours) away from where I live, so we initially made plans for me to come this Saturday 6/20 (with some slight reluctance on their part as they wanted me to come by yesterday 6/18 or today 6/19).

I put down a $2.5k deposit and signed the buyers order, sent my documents, and they are running my credit app today.

I got a call yesterday saying there was a bumper scratch that was supposed to be repaired already but will not be repaired in time. After much apologizing from the dealer, they said they will hold the car until next Saturday 6/27 since I cannot come during the week due to the distance.

All sounds well, but it makes me nervous that it will be there for over a week when they obviously wanted it off the lot quickly. Do I need to worry about them potentially selling to someone else? They seemed honest and have good reviews but I am new to car buying. Should I ask for the manager’s signature on the buyer’s order emailed to me for security? Should I ask for an email stating that they will hold the car?

Thanks!

Difference between DAPP and just “Active Driving Assistant Pro” option?

This is a 2024 without DAPP, but it does have “active driving assistant pro.” From a Google search it looks like the only difference is highway assistant, in that it’s for a limited time without the DAPP? But this vehicle should still have traffic jam assistant and all the same parking features as DAPP?

Thanks!
