I picked it up from a junk pile. After I returned home I remembered that I can’t play a guitar. I think it’s too cool to throw away but it had ants inside it.

I don’t usually fish in waters that have rainbow trout but I’m going to a river that has rainbow trout.

Could this small 1” Rapala catch one?

I’m going fishing for trout on a small river. Here’s my rod and reel.

Reel: Daiwa Ninja LT2000 with 5kg 8x braid

Rod base: Berkley Cherrywood

Rod Tip: -Self-made -Very flexible -Throws under 2g lures very smoothly -Has handled perch up to 500g very well

Also what lures should I be throwing? I have little inline spinners and some micro jigs.

Caught some nice ones.

I need it, without it I am nothing.

I was fishing for perch with my 5wt fly rod when a 50ish cm bream gulped my lure.

After a decent fight I had the fish at the bank but I couldn’t lift the fish up because I was standing on a 1,5 meter tall jetty.

I had to release the fish before I got it out of the water.

(For context a smaller bream I caught earlier this year)

Caught my first ever wild brown trout and it was from sea.

I was targeting perch with my micro setup and this slammed my jig. Very fun fight and seemed like a very healthy one.
