Best way to keep my budgies safe after basement floods?

So, my family's basement flooded. I have 2 parakeets that live in my bedroom upstairs. Our basement flooded bout a week and a half ago (we've done minor cleaning and they've been fine) and we've finally got the basement cleared to where people can come in and clean it. That's the problem though, they're going to use chemicals and im so anxious that my babies are going to be effected by them. I am a minor and can't do much. We currently dont have the money to send them to a place to keep them safe and we dont have friends that can take them in. They live in my bedroom but it's is a high traffic area as its a room people sleep and hang out in. I just want advice on the best way to keep my two birdies safe and reinsurance from other bird owners that they WONT die.

Also sorry for repeating myself a bunch its 11 at night and im 5 minutes away from an anxiety attack

(I lost a birdy 2 months ago and have been anxious since)

Safe alternatives for this toy 🤔

My birds LOVE this coconut shell, one of my birds loves to climb in the middle to pull and chew at the blocks, balls, and chains while also making it sway/swing . However, ive recently found out rope and nest shapes are bad for parakeets. But this is one of there favorite toys so I want to get toys I can replace this with that way the arent sad/bored when I remove it

Bird anxiety, a rant/vent/advice post

FIRST AND FOR MOST!!!! I am NOT asking for medical advice, I am simply sharing my anxiety that something MIGHT be wrong with my birds even though they're 100% healthy (I've already taken them to a vet, they're not sick, I'm still anxious.) When I'm not doped up on anxiety and have a clear head I have 0 worries about my budgies, they are happy and healthy.

ANYWAY ONTO THE RANT

Basically what the title says, for the past month and a half I have been having horrible bird anxiety. On the first of last month my parakeet passed away. It was very sudden, she was here one day, the next she wasn't. I have since gotten a new parakeet (might seem 'fast' for some of yall but my remaining bird has never been alone in her cage, she always had my dead bungie with her.)

I did do the necessary 30 day quarantine to make sure niether bird was sick. Neither of them showed sick signs in those 30 days. Both birds are now in the same cage (i introduced them to each other slowly they bonded quickly and one day my new bird just walked into my remaining birds cage. I've decided to let her stay, she seems happier in it.)

Despite neither bird showing any signs of illness in these last (nearly) two months I'm very anxious about there well being. I'm afraid anything and everything will result in my birds death. I've even started to worry that their toys (I've had some of these toys for years now) will cause harm. Like I mentioned, I've had these toys for years, if they were gonna kill my birds they sure took there sweet time.

I'm so anxious for my birds I'm starting to over think there every move. I swear to the gods I asked google if my bird moving her head up and down was a sign she was about to de-exist (i know it wasn't, just had to read it). Ive had my birds for five years and i STILL googled if \*Insert normal parakeet activity\* is a sign there gonna die. My google history right now is just a bunch of questions about my birds and if they're gonna die from what I'm doin. I kid you not i asked google if the smell of chlorine on my skin would end my birds.

Any way, does anyone have tips on how to lessen my anxiety. Maybe tell me how likely it is that metal that holds there favorite swing I've had for 3 years is actually zinc and both my birds are gonna combust spontaneously from metal poisoning. (But fr, how likely is it for a toy to actual take out a bird?)

Thank you for listening? Reading? Consuming? Pick your poison or something. (Hopefully my birds don't listen to that advice)

Was observing my birdys aqnd realized one of them was a fat fuck (lovingly)

As you can see in the image my two female parakeets are on top of there cage having a blast. That's when I noticed one of them was a fat fuck. If you can't tell I'm joking! The bigger one is currently molting and is 6 years of age, she's a loud to be big XD

But fr I'm so glad my old budgie is getting along well with the new baby

Would you fall in love with me again animation idea! (I can't animate 😞)

When Odysseus walks into the room penople is by the window, it shows her as she looks at him. We see her tru to take a step forward but Odysseus takes a step back. Penelope stops trying to walk torwards him. We see a panel of Odysseus face,he has black squibbles surrounding his head. As the song goes on the sqibbles grow bigger. When peneople 'rejects' him it turns from squibbles around his head to the entire background becoming black and Odysseus face being covered, as he speaks about the tree the darkness starts to spread down his neck. When penople says "only my husband knows that so I guess that makes him you" the spread stops. Penelope starts walking towards Odysseus. As she does the background starts to become normal, by the time she reaches Odysseus the only darkness left is on Odysseus face. Penelope quickly gets rid of that tho because when she says "don't tell me your not the same person" she slaps him, making the last of the darkness disappear.

So I am in missouri, and yesterday i found a baby bird. I have contacted many wildlife rehabilitators but two if the three i contacted couldnt take the bird. The only one that can is in st louis which is 2 hours away from where i live. I know where the birds nest possible is and I've looked in the bush multiple time but havent been able to find anything as it is a dense bush. Also i do not know if the mother fully abandoned the nest or not. Anyway i have been feeding the chick aqnd it has pooped, its moveing and it made it threw a night. I want some advice. I know legally i can not keep the bird but i have zero places I can SAFELY put it. I fear for the birds life and just want to know if its a last cause, what I should do to make it more comfortable amd over all some care advice (also, should i contact authorities to let them know about the bird and see if they can do somthing? Im up for anything really.)

Other info i wanna add last minute is i do have bird experience. I have two parakeets, albeit not wild nor native birds but still some bird experience
