Pēdējo nedēļu laikā esmu sācis apdomāt šīs grāmatas. Kad man bija 10 gadu, lasīju tās angliski, taču šobrīd šķetinu un domāju par to latvisko tulkojumu - atradu dažas no tām ibookā, bet ne visas, un internetā informācijas vienkārši nav. Zinu, ka nav visai populāras, bet vai kāds zina - vai visas ir tulkotas latviski? Atradu tikai pirmās 6.

Vispār rakstu par šo, jo gribēju tās iztulkot. Prasās kāds hobijs, un šis šķiet diezgan amizants un jautrs, kā arī valodas prasmju uzlabošanai derīgs! Vēlējos papētīt, cik kvalitatīvs ir vecais tulkojums, un vai vispār ir pieejamas visas daļas.

Hi, my name is Kaspars and I am in dire need of some good, high quality yapping about the most meaningless (or the most meaningful) topics you can encounter on this Earth.

Taking some inspiration from u/Known_Day6941 's post, I'll first off say, that I really am looking for people to talk to, and this could fall into 2 categories:

• The first - you see that many of our interests align and that we could have indepth, radioactively nerdy conversations about these things;
• The second - nothing, aligns? In that case i want to know everything about your interests, what you like, hate, despise, anything that weighs on you or something that has made you excited recently, and in return I'll do likewise!

I would really appreciate not being dry, I want this to be meaningful and fun and happiness inducing, and if you don't feel like you're looking for that, maybe I'm not the right vibe for you, and that's ok! I would really be happy if some people more towards the energetic side would be happy to yap away!

A little about me:

I'm from Latvia, and that's the first thing you should note - if you are from eastern Europe, then we will instantly have some connection, even if it's just having lived in a Hruvstchovka,even that small detail would be worth it!

I am a very humanities focused person, I write papers, poetry etc., but that doesn't limit my scope into the sciences - I still love to delve into that part of the academic spectrum and even there we could make connections, maybe we watch the same Youtube channels around science, maybe we llke time paradoxes, who the Hell knows, but it Would be so fucking nice to talk about it!! Again, anything goes!

As a humanities-loving individual, literature is near and dear to my heart and I would love any book reccs, or if people are looking or such, i have read a wide range of genres and vibes of them, so, please, ask away. I can mostly help with historical stuff, sci-fi, very specific niche books which i don't even know how to describe :DD

Im also a cook, I make some bomb ass tiramisu and anyone who does likewise - let's fucking compete and see who can do better!! Anything cooking related - come fucking talk.

Onto more specific stuff - as a nerd, you can expect any of the major franchises to be at least partly consumed by me, I try to stay on top of most popular stuff :DD

I recently wrote a paper on the Realm of Hades, but in general I am neck deep in greek mythology, so anyone who wants to talk about games or any media related to it - go right ahead!

I'ill give a short list of games, which if you've played, ill love you forever:

• Sime rancher
• Dead Cells

As for more multiplayer games, any of the classics will do, im open to anything!

I also love wh40k, especially the Cain novels, so anyone who's even had a passing glance at them, COME TALK!

Board games are also a particular interest of mine, especially Diplomacy and Catan, if you enjoy those - hop on some backstabr or colonist!

I also would say that i love sharing current and past life worries, so I'd love it if you guys just started talking in the DM, introduce yourself, and if you want to, just share sm recent as i said above, that would be sweet!

I'm also very much into modern politics, and more specifically for the history nerds out there - let stalk about the early 20th century of European politics, hihi! i take part in a few youth orgs and european stuff in general, so please, hmu!

Hello - in short, installed Linux mint on my Asus vivobook, and with a tether connection I went through these steps:

1. Update drivers

2. Download mint updates

3. Turn off secure boot.

4. Switched to a newer kernel. After that I tried following a guide to switch to a 7.1 rc2 kernel, didn't work

5. I have also confirmed that I have the MT7209 media tek wifi chip. I see some sources saying I need a user driven driver, others say there's an official version, I found a site, which was incomprehnsible to me. I'm quite new to this and would appreciate some help :D
