Coworker is cold and awkward in person, but warm over text. What’s her deal?

Had a bad communication breakdown with a female coworker—went silent, unfollowed her on IG, and thought we were done.

Suddenly, we cleared the air on Teams, and she teasingly brought up the unfollow.

Now, she’s warm and friendly over text/chat (even asking me to teach her dance moves 1-on-1 for our company event), but in person at the office, she’s awkward, guarded, and much closer with everyone else.

Is she just seeking validation/ego boosts, or is she genuinely interested but awkward in real life? How do I navigate this without getting drained?

Me (36M) Coworker (30F). She is cold, guarded and awkward in person, but warm over text and just asked me for 1-on-1 dance practice help. What’s her deal?

Unfollowed a coworker after weeks of cold silence. She broke the ice, asked for 1-on-1 dance lessons, but still acts cold in person. Why?

I (36M) think my Coworker (30F) is super cold in person, but warm over text and just asked me for 1-on-1 dance help. What’s her deal?
