Motormate with SHO issues

Been running a motor mate for a bit with our Yamaha 225 sho. It should mate with the nuts shown. Keep having issues with it bouncing off on big bumps on the road and it’s fucking up the lower unit in addition to not protecting the hydraulics at all. Anyone have any suggestions? We have been strapping it down with limited success. Looking at the beatdown and dd26 mounts but have had issues in the past with ram mounted savers wrecking the seals on the rams.

Making good use of the tow package

Lowkey this thing is a beast. Tows this boat much easier and smoother than a 5.7 v8 hemi and the 3.6 pentastar.

First adult car purchase, first Audi

Picked up this ‘23 Q7 55 in Waitomo blue with the brown seats and black optic package. Whoever made the spec on this thing did a great job. The sound system has been phenomenal, excited to see how it handles some flat land towing.

Couple nice fish from Memorial Day.

A 5.22 for me and 5.04 for my dad. Was a bit of a short day. Did lose a 5.5++, first lost big fish in a long time. My goal is to fish from 6am to 9pm tomorrow no matter what.

Much tougher day, but was still gifted a 6lber

Pretty brutal day on Mille lacs. Handful of major fronts blew through since the last time I was out and really shut these fish down. Saw at least 200 fish between the few schools that were still occupying the spots I had found previously, but was maybe able to grind out 15 bites from 7-4. Lucky to be able to fish a lake this special and be gifted a giant bite at random.

Did some damage on Monday, Mille Lacs Dirty 30

Finally had my first good day on Mille Lacs. Prior to this day my pb smallie was a 5.46 from Canada and I had never caught a 5lb smallie in the states. Also have not weighed any 5lb bass in MN in over 6 years. Pulled up to my first spot and after landing a bunch of dinks (2-3lbers out there) a long cast with the tube landed a 6.15lber that had me shaking like a leaf when she jumped the first time. Proceeded to grind the rest of the day and beat that fish 2 more times including my new PB at 6.34lbs and catch my biggest bag ever, a dirty 30.

Mille Lacs finally paid off for me.

Had never done well out there until Monday. Had never caught a 5lb smallie in MN and previous pb was a Canadian 5.46lber. Absolutely smashed it with a 6.15 on my 6th fish of the day and then a 6.34 as my new pb later in the day. Managed to grind out a dream 30lb bag.
