I did a strength training for runners class yesterday and my legs are so so so SORE today. It hurts to sit and stand up. It’s the first time ever that I’ve had clients in person the following day and I am having to make sure no one hears my grunts of pain going up and down the stairs or sitting down/standing up in session.

A bunch of little baby birds just hatched in our parking garage and one has a broken wing. Who can I call?

I’ve had cats for 20 years now and this is a first for me. Kierra is 4 years old and is a traditional scarf and barfer- we have to spread her meals throughout the day or she will just puke it all back up again.

Lately, maybe the last 6 months, when she has a hairball (which I think is new for her) she gets so freaked out she’ll start running and then projectile vomit the hairball along with a small amount of liquid. No food particles at all. And I say new for her because she acts so surprised and freaked out when it happens. Meanwhile her littermate Kinsey has a hairball and she does the typical cough out, although sometimes she swallows it lol

I’ve run into this a few times in the past few years and there have been some clients I’m like well I saw the email, I could do session and I fold. A few weeks ago I had this similar situation and I held my boundaries. I didn’t get any pushback from the client but I will see them again for the first time tomorrow and I’m wondering how to address it. Or if they bring it up how do I respond. Deep down I know it’s a respecting my time thing but I struggle with communicating that specific piece to my clients.

This is my first year running BB and I have a start time 8:30ish. Based on experience is it still possible to find parking in the CU lots? Or in the neighborhoods up on Broadway?

We have 2 cars so I'm going to park one vehicle near the finish and then my husband is going to drop me off at the start so I don't have to walk miles back to my car. He's not a participant nor a cheerleader lol

In my local therapist FB group I’ve come across several therapists who are using AI generated images of themselves. Whether that’s on a post promoting themselves and their business or on their website. They aren’t even good! One I just saw has a head that’s way too big for the body, making it almost caricature-like.

It immediately makes me not want to refer to them, like this huge red flag of disingenuous energy. I just don’t understand the desire to do this.

I’m curious to get y’all’s thoughts on having a window in your office. I currently work from home 70% of the time. Have a big window that lets in a lot of natural light all day. 30% of the time I see in person folks in a co-op space that has a big window in every office option. I’m looking to finally lease or sublet a space and I’m wondering what are yalls thoughts on windows vs. no windows. I don’t think I’ve ever held a therapy session where there wasn’t a window. Those who have done both do you feel a difference?

Update: I’ve heard enough, I go with my gut and don’t take a space with no window. I just wanted to see if it could be worth it. I love natural lighting so I was leaning towards needing a window. Just needed that validated lol
