My 3rd Gen Build!

Let me start off by saying, I don’t consider myself a truck guy. I’ve always been a streetcar type of person … but damn do I love this thing. It’s completely changed my perspective.

Sold my old VB WRX for the truck back towards the end of 2024 and picked this puppy up. ‘23 SR5 4x4 with only 10k miles. Told myself I wasn’t gonna modify it like all my other vehicles I’ve had … that obviously lasted about a month and then I bought just about everything for it that I have now.

Everything on the truck has been installed by me and done by me. I’ve always loved wrenching on things, saves ya money, and if anything goes wrong you only have yourself to blame!

I’ll attach a brief mod/part list below, cheers!

-Bilstein 6112 front coilovers (2” raise)
-Bilstein 5160 rear shocks
-OME UCAs (not pictured as I installed later)
-Icon add-a-leaf pack (1.5” raise)
-SCS F5 Wheels
-Falken Wildpeak AT4W tires
-Trd Pro Grille
-USR Clear Taillights
-OEM paint matched rear bumper caps
-Preordered (still waiting on) Oracle lensless headlights

New Oracle Lensless Headlights

(Edit: This post is NOT an ad, not sponsored, not affiliated, or anything of the like with Oracle. I am a regular customer who purchased the lights with my own money and received no personal discounts or anything from the company)

Recently preordered the newly developed Oracle lensless headlights for the 3rd gen taco.

Like most others I was definitely hesitant at first but am honestly now quite excited to get them in and installed!

Obviously I was worried about the fact that, well, there’s no lense, BUT the actual headlights/projectors have 1” thick ballistic grade glass on them, arguably (definitely) stronger than any plastic housing for any regular headlight. So if there was anything that’s gonna break these on the road, it would definitely break a regular headlight anyways. PLUS every component on the headlights is modular so if they break, you can just replace the individual part. And for one last bonus, every component on the headlights come with a 5 year warranty!

Only other thing is cleaning them may be a hassle but we’ll see.

Curious if anyone else has preordered or has any thoughts on them!

Missing the Subie

Just hopped on Reddit for the first time so I figured I’d throw some pics up of my old VB. Miss this thing like crazy. Lots of time, money, and effort into this old gal. I see another boxer in my future soon!
