No one helps domestic violence or trafficking survivors

I’m just so tired of this society where no one tries to help each other,

Especially domestic violence and trafficking survivors like me.

I’ve been staying in shelters to try to flea from my situation and the shelters are extremely unsafe and unclean, and they don’t help you get into housing either.

I ended up having to leave the shelters because they were so bad, and now I am homeless, but back to my abuser because they give me a little financial help.

I am also dealing with very difficult disabilities that affect my ability to work most jobs.

I’m happy to work any jobs that I can do and I’ve been applying for remote jobs I think I can do, but I haven’t gotten them. I do have an education

I have asked for help with this so. Many. Times.

I have called social services, nonprofits, churches, spoken in support groups, and just anyone I can think of.

No one helps. Most of the time, if someone tries to do anything, they just tell me to call the domestic violence hotline, which doesn’t even pick up anymore, or they tell me to go to a shelter.

I’m so tired.

This is a very bad problem in society and you guys don’t understand that people are not able to leave their abusers right now because there is no help available.

I do not have friends or family I can stay with. I was also very sick for a long time in bed and was not meeting people.

As a survivor of the Epstein network, no one is doing anything to help survivors.

It sucks to see so many people posting about wanting to help survivors and not lifting a finger.

If you claim you want to help, What are you doing to help?

If you want the Epstein type trafficking cycles to stop, you guys have to be willing to actually help survivors. It’s very hard to break free of this.

And yes, I realize there are problems with people claiming to be survivors that aren’t and that may even have been perpetrators in the situation.

But there are other people who are real survivors and have proof of what happened to them and trust me there is literally no help for trafficking survivors in the US.

The trafficking shelters are scams, they don’t help people get assistance at all,

And the people who post online about wanting to help trafficking survivors supposedly are not willing to do anything to help survivors, despite putting out content about supposedly trying to help them.

It’s incredibly frustrating.

I’ve been trying to break free of the people who trafficked me and I haven’t even been able to, despite staying in multiple shelters and doing everything I can to get help

I need advice around my chronic illness and homelessness

I am dealing with a lot of physical health problems and setbacks, and have become homeless as a result. Yes I am and have always been sober.

I’m so incredibly overwhelmed, and I don’t know which direction to go in.

I’ve called every nonprofit and agency number that I have for my area and there’s a big issue with these places not actually providing support.

[edit- the reason I became homeless is because of my physical illnesses, and how hard it’s been to find work I could do.

These illnesses started with an insect bite, and I should probably mention a case of mono that didn’t really improve. I was healthy and in shape my whole life before this, I didn’t even realize I could get this sick…]

I’ve stayed in several shelters, which is basically the only option they give you,

The shelters don’t help you find housing, and they were also very unsafe with other residents threatening and attacking other people including me

I would love to find some real advice around the situation and where to go from here.

I’ve basically been trying to deal with this on my own, I’ve reached out in other places for help, but it hasn’t been very successful

I also do deal with mental health issues of anxiety and depression

Edit- am in SoCal

I can never seem to get help with my disability

I can never seem to get any help or support with my disability ever since I got sick.

And am so exhausted of trying to find work or other options of things I can do for money. I am applying for SSDI and I’m guessing it’s gonna take a long time to get on it.

It seems like no one really responds when I ask for help, and if they do give suggestions about how I can make an income with my disability, It’s always things like being a waitress that I physically can’t do.

Dealing with fibro, thyroid issues, and being tested for Ms and lupus which the doctors think I may have

I have a lot of weakness in my limbs and issues with my hands where I can type some of the time, but not all of the time

I also deal with mental health issues of anxiety and depression

I just genuinely have no idea what to do with my situation. I was able to do some delivery driving at one point, but I made like five dollars an hour if that.

I can’t drive all the time anymore.

I just don’t understand why no one ever helps when I reach out for help and then people tell me like oh you just have to reach out for help.

But no one is actually available to help anyone

If anyone has suggestions, let me know?

I also called a bunch of agencies where I live in southern California and they just suggested going to shelters because I am homeless, but the shelters ended up being very dangerous
