Do Alternates Marshall?
I just heard Tara call for all star finalists and alternates to marshall. It’s the first time I’ve heard anyone call alternates to marshalling.
If you’re an alternate is it usual practice to go to marshalling or hover nearby?

I read an article that said it reduces the resistant starch. I couldn’t find anything about whether starch crystallises when it cools if it’s been pressure cooked.
What’s the best way to cook and cool rice to maximise resistant starch?
What about lentils? Dried peas? Beans?
I’m keen to hear about studies that have shown improvement in the immune system, specifically focused on incidence, severity and duration of Covid, flu and other respiratory infections, and your own personal experiences. If you’re sharing your personal experiences I would love to know what your diet and health was like before and after you made the changes.
The studies I’ve seen seem to be mostly advocating a plant based diet. I don’t eat a lot of meat but I prefer an omnivorous lifestyle. I’m interested to hear about how diets that have lots of plants but also include some fish, chicken, meat, and eggs rate for protecting the immune system against infections.
For as long as I can remember I’ve been sick for 3 to 4 months every single year with respiratory infections which often turn into sinus infections or bronchitis.
I started taking precautions at the beginning of the pandemic. I still wear a mask most of the time and have had only one infection in the last 5 years. Not being sick all the time is absolutely life changing! I’m masking less now and I still want to have protection against infections.
I would like to strengthen my immune system so I’m not wiped out by bugs and catching every little thing that goes around. Please inspire me with information that shows me it is possible to not be sick all the time!
I was already eating the rainbow of vegetables and more than 30 fruits and vegetables each week. About a year ago I added the Blis K12 oral probiotic a few times a week and a lot of different types of fibre as well as sauerkraut and yoghurt. I’ve also increased the amount of time I spend meditating and reduced my stress.
Episode reviews plus some interesting interviews with the cast, including exit interviews, and an interview with the producer of the show.
The producer mentioned that the Australian version was filmed first with a four day break and then the New Zealand version was filmed.
I kept thinking she was familiar and then I remembered I saw her on Guy Montgomery‘s Guy Mont spelling bee.
Guy, Maria and Paul Williams are well-known comedians in New Zealand.
Paul Williams is the Taskmaster‘s assistant in the New Zealand version of Taskmaster.
I’m going to a new aesthetician next week. When I spoke on the phone she strongly recommended Profhilo Structura to help with volume loss. I had read some negative reviews about it and told her that and she was very surprised.
I would love to hear feedback from people who tried this who have a lot of volume loss and skin heading south.
I realised a part of me is still fighting my symptoms. I want to drop the fight. I’ve done somatic tracking and general guided self-compassion and surrender meditations but I would prefer something specific for health to help me make peace with symptoms.
Goals:
* Allow and stop trying to fix the symptoms.
* Stop pushing through instead of listening to my body (while still doing what I can to live a full life without waiting until I know my health is good enough).
Edit: Thanks for the fast replies. I tried searching online and couldn’t find it. It turns out you are all much quicker than Google.
