My dad lives in another state and collects vintage stereo equipment, he gifted me this technics turntable SL-L25, a Sony amplifier and 2 speakers. I can’t get the sound to work. I set it to Phono on the turntable and have it plugged into phono on the amplifier(that’s what he told me to do). He told me how to hook them up but obviously I’ve done something wrong. Please help and explain it to me like I’m 5 😅

It’s been over a year since their last “giving build” they bought a whole ass trailer to give makeovers for other people (which they still make money on & it costs them none of their own money🙃) they even had the damn trailer wrapped and then stopped helping others. I just received this rose in the mail today, I ordered a Dawn Brindabella but they sent me a lavender 🙄 she’s not looking too great, is this rust or black spot on her leaves? Regardless should I quarantine and try to treat whatever it is? Or toss her? All of my roses are very healthy, never had black spot, rust or any fungal issues and I do NOT want anything spreading to my healthy ones.
I bought a few peony roots on sale and have only ever planted them in the fall. It’s spring here and I’m in zone 6b. What should I do with these roots? Store and save them until fall? Freeze them? Plant them now? Reading so many mixed reviews online.
My friend says these are roses from her garden but reverse I’m age search says they are peonies. Anyone know what kind of roses they are? Or are they peonies!?
