So where do dragons come from?

Long story short I’m working on a DND campaign and I thought it would be cool to implement dragons in a similar fashion to DL. I used to play the game a ton but am rusty on the lore IIRC dragons are created when mana in nature condenses sufficiently? I looked all over the wiki but that thing was not easy to navigate, this seems like it should be cursory knowledge but you have to dig for it. Like clearly organizations can make artificial dragons in universe and iirc during the priconne crossover the notion of eating a dragon was seen as bizarre to the people who live in DL

[LFH] is my headset cooked?

my current headset has lasted me about 5-6 years, got me through a pandemic and so much more. In this economy I’d rather not have to spend the money I dropped on them back in the day but if that’s inevitable I’d love some recommendations.

Who is your fandom’s blorbo bleebus?

A blorbo bleebus as I am defining it is a minor antagonistic force that doesn’t really do anything that bad compared to the big bad of your fandom. He’s a character who sucks severely and you hope many misfortunes fall upon but there’s also a subset of the fandom who loves blorbo bleebus because despite being evil he’s kinda silly.

In example one we have ahkmou from bionicle who’s most notable evil act is selling poisoned soccer balls and spreading a disease throughout po koro. (The stone village) essentially he’s just a snake oil salesman who goes around scamming people, he serves the big bad and despite oddly enough being one of the big bad’s more competent henchmen is meme’d to death with saul Goodman edits

Next up we have magic man from adventure time.

He sucks, he knows it and he wants other people to know it so he turns them into body parts just to make them suffer and “realize what a jerk he is”

Day 10 of making a tier list of every US state by how green it is

texas was a toughy, one guy jokingly suggested S tier but most other suggestions went with B or C tier so I decided to put it at the bottom of B.

next we got mostly C tiers with the S tier slot going to vermont. for many of you this is a long time coming as pretty much since i started this i was getting comments about vermont going in there.

we are now doing the final five states which is virginia to wyoming. once again say what state goes where and why, best answer wins

Day 9 of creating a tier list of every US state by how green it is

we got mostly B and C tier additions with an A and a D in oregon and Oklahoma respectively.

this time we are discussing everything from south dakota to vermont. we are in the final stretch. day ten will be the lasty five states and then I will give it about a week to discuss any changes in placements, rank in tier and if S tier is not found which A tier state takes it. comment which state goes where and your rationale, best answer gets the win.

Day 8 of making a tier list of every US state by how green it is

we saw a whole bunch of B tier which is nice but unfortunately we saw a D and F tier in the forms of north Dakota and Ohio respectively.

this time around we are ranking Oklahoma to south Carolina.

say what state goes in what tier and why, most upvoted comment wins

day 7 of creating a tier list of every state by how green it is

I think by giving this tier list more time than making a new post roughly every 24 hours has actually worked out for the most part so I'm going to keep doing that. Ideally maybe two or three days tops

I'd like to congratulate new Hampshire for being the fourth state to make it into A tier.

we did other than that get some B and c tier additions which could be better but at least we aren't getting D and F tier stuff this time around

for this instance we are doing new mexico to ohio

say what state goes in what tier and your rationale and most upvoted comment wins

Day 6 of creating a tier list of every US state by how green it is

first off I'd like to apologize for taking a break and then taking a longer break but I had IRL things go on and this slipped my mind.

we are now past the halfway point with mostly some B and D tier additions.

this time we are discussing montana to new jersey. once again say what state you want in what tier and give as much of an explanation as you would like, most upvoted comments win

Day 5 of creating a tier list of every US state by how green it is

sorry for the delay, I had some personal matters to attend to but I hope posting at this time of day means more people see it.

Kansas got a lot of people saying C tier so that's where I put it, Kentucky got F tier which is also unfortunate. however we did get a couple new A and B tier states in the form of Maine and Maryland respectively which is nice.

this time we are discussing Massachusetts to Missouri

once again say what state you want in what tier and explain why if you wish, most upvoted comment wins

day 4 of making a tier list of every US state by how green it is

first off congrats to both Idaho and Illinois for getting the first A tier

there were arguements for Hawaii being in B tier however while i try to be optimistic i felt there were too many counter arguments for it to rank that high so it went into C tier.

Iowa was also hotly contested because on the one hand they got some good things going but on the other they also have MASSIVE beef farms so i put it in C tier with Hawaii.

Indiana marks our second F tier as two people argued in favor of it going there and nobody contested that which is unfortunate as every F tier is really bad for the environment.

this time we are discussing everything from kansas to maryland.

once again, comment which of those five states go in which tier and explain your reasoning if you wish and the most upvoted comment wins

Day 3 of making a tier list of every US state by how green it is

We got some updates on states that weren’t mentioned prior to the second day of this. Our first F tier is Arkansas and congrats to Connecticut for being the first thing to make it into B tier.

Delaware despite my personal feelings about the place I decided to be impartial and put it on the lower end of C tier. Florida was going to be either D or F tier so I decided it’s at the bottom of D so far

This time we’re rating Hawaii to Iowa. Say what tier you feel each state is in and elaborate further if you wish, most upvoted comment wins.

Day 2 of creating a tier list of every state by how green it is

Arizona and California both got C tier. Alaska got a comment saying S tier but that was hotly debated and the side against Alaska made IMHO better arguments so I decided on D tier. Alabama and Arkansas weren’t mentioned.

This time we’re rating everything from Colorado to Georgia. Once again say what tier you want each state in and the most upvoted comment wins

Ranking US states by how “green” they are

I’ve been thinking, we need a shakeup as we constantly recycle the vegan and nuclear discourses so after a lot of time mulling it over I think I’ve got the perfect solution. We’re going to do a tier list of how easy it is to be eco friendly in different parts of the US. To keep this easy we’re going to start off from Alabama to California, just name the state and what tier it goes in and if your comment gets the most upvotes that’s where that goes. Try to avoid repeating what someone else already commented to keep it clear who’s winning. By the end of the tier list I hope only one state is in S so if that isn’t how that shakes out we’ll do a post asking which state takes it.

If you want you can elaborate further but you don’t have to.
