Tracking the Loot

I just cannot figure out a logical reason why they would take the Greenest loot all the past the sword mountains. They have a hidden flying castle which makes better time than any oxcart and doesn't involve hiding important resources from multiple city customs. Dead Mire isn't even the fastest way to get to the Well from Greenest.

I'm planning to have the castle land outside the hatchery camp, and then have them track the castle and rezmir up the trade way from Greenest as skyreach stops at various rural areas to pick up loot. The castle being a carrot to bait the PCs the right way. Over a month of in game time, I cannot imagine my players not interacting with the slow carts at some point/not chafing at being told they must silently and slowly track some boxes over several leagues. I'd rather it be an investigation/man hunt touching on the ways the cult has infiltrated baldur's gate, daggerford, and waterdeep. And have them discover rezmir's castle on their own.

the dreaded honor mode crash, any help?

I was in wyrmsway and went to long rest before the dragon; crashed when i tried to end the day (didn't get to the full longrest/food allotment so pretty sure its not bugged food). Now I cannot end the day anywhere. I've gone through coronation, tried moving about, team composition, emptied camp container. Nothing is working. I have autosell and auto-to-camp mods which i've disabled in mod manager.

Everything else about the game seems to be working, just won't let me send the game to night.

I have uninstalled reinstalled, and deleted mod folder-reinstalled all mods. The most intense mod i have is scratch evolved.

Lathander's Light permanent buff bug

I have inconstant moon and morninglord's morningstar which are the only two I can imagine are causing this.

On another save I have lathander's light, but I just started a new game, have not gotten to the monastery, and Shadowheart has lathander's light permanently stuck on her, forcing her and everyone around her out of obscured.

Question for editors: why are WWE and actual competitions treated equivalently?

I think its weird Wiki allows kayfabe on the pages of real people. Why is Wrestlemania written in the same way as someone’s olympic records? One is the plot to a tv show.
Win-loss records are listed and described in the same way as an competitive athletes instead of listed as the viewed result of performance art.

“Rousey is the only woman to become a champion in both the UFC and WWE." I’m going to stop you right there, because one of those is not like the other. Those are not equivalent organizations, they’re not even equivalent activities. One is a sport, the other is a play. Their connection is the sport in the former informs the stunts in the other.

This is not a reflection on physicality or skill involved in professional wrestling. Its the framing of these records in the exact same way as a professional sport career, which they are not.

This is especially salient for athletes who also work in professional wrestling, but is still weird for people who just work in professional wrestling. You don't have the plot of every film a stuntperson works on in their biography, and yet you have the plot of every championship theatre a professional wrestler takes part in.

A surprisingly disappointing last episode

Binged the entire show in a couple days. Incredible. But while still riding the high of the bunraku episode, a triumph of storytelling, that last episode was a huge disappointment. I've read a few things that imply they were really running out of money by the end and if that's true it shows. The battle was boring, and unbelievable. Edo guns are good, they're not M4s. There was no ramping dread because they did the same beat for each gate, before calmly marching to the next one. Either show an interesting losing pitched battle, or (if trying to save money) don't show the battle at all. instead interrupting the A-B plots with other cues; gunshots, cannon, screams, fleeing allied soldiers.

Then the fights, which were a huge let down after the many excellently choreographed fights in the series. Too much monologuing, too much cutting out of a fight in the middle. A disappointing break from the brutally efficient and inventive fights.

Then the ending. A sudden reversal from mizu, abandoning all the people she's collected. Not even a quick beat showing her agonizing over the decision. All of a sudden she has a boat and a human sized crate. The series was so character driven, until they knew what the final shot would be and shuffled everyone to where they needed to be.

Willing to be told I'm misreading and need to rewatch (oh know, i have to rewatch this beautiful show???s/) but wondering if community sentiment matches its low(er) ratings?
