Truffle tries? *fp risk?

I got truffle fries at a work function and mostly stared at them because I was too nervous to eat them. I've been in hot water with my boss because I've been 2-3 mins late most days and she was right there so I could not eat the fries.

The dinner started at maybe 7 and i got truffle fries with parm. I came home at 11 and put the fries in the fridge after a long night walk and weed smoke with a friend and her dog. I am really high right now and I am dying to eat these fries. I would rather jump off a cliff than get fp.

Idk if aioli is there. I figured they could be ok because there's no meat, but if there's aioli in there, I may be f'ed.

Please advise?? 🙏🥺 I don't want to throw out my fries.

Lush Hair Henna? (On mousey virgin hair)

Hello! I have brown hair I have never even dyed with natural products -- not even kool-aid as a kid. I have always wanted to try it, but I was too scared. I just turned 32 and I want to do something different. I could really use some advice!

I'm worried certain hair colours won't flatter me, so I dragged my feet. I am still worried I'll make myself look worse, and I currently work in a front-facing retail position under harsh fluorescent lights, in which case a cool-toned colour like noir may not be the ticket.

I have heard the quality of the Lush hair henna has deteriorated since then. Is there a dupe out there I can try, or should I just go for it? Does anyone have any tips??

I am white with very pale, cool-toned skin (used to have freckles) and mousey darkish brown hair with some greys. It looks kind of ashy and dry under the retail lights and I have many flyaways from split ends. The hair at my temples is thinner and less pigmented, so I need to style and set my hair a certain way to avoid bald-looking spots. I'm not sure if colouring it will blend these in or emphasize them further.

I am not looking for a super long-term commitment to one colour, or a ton of root maintenance due to my busy work schedule. A semi-permanent colour with an even, gradual fade would be ideal. Something that can give my hair some added nourishment, even better.

One concern I have ofc is that a darker hair colour will emphasize any features I am insecure about, but I also currently look washed out af. I am most likely going to be dyeing it alone.

[[For added context, my ex-stepsister just passed. I always thought of her as the epitome of cool. Back in the day, she used to dye her hair with Lush hair caca. I said I'd try it but I never did. She would often use black, sometimes reds. I remembered how awesome she looked and I definitely idolized her. Her funeral is coming up in a little over a week. It doesn't totally make sense, but I want to do it before then. Life is short, I'm feeling nostalgic, and I want to do something to honour the memories I have of her.]]

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Torriden Dive in on eyebags

(TL;DR: used Torriden Dive In products and it smoothed eyebags I have had for 20 years. Definitely my new holy grail!)

Hey all! I just tried the Torriden Dive In low molecular hyaluronic acid serum with the soothing cream and I'm kind of surprised.

I had tried HA products in the past and felt that it they were nice, but I didn't notice any major differences. I always thought of it as a temporary plumping agent with no long-term benefits/ as something that might be nice for an event or photoshoot.

My skin has been very sensitive and broken out, so I just wanted some gel textured products to avoid clogging it up with creams while it heals from this bout of hormonal acne.

I've had very pronounced eyebags since I was in middle school regardless of how much sleep I get and how much water I drink. I don't know where they came from. I thought maybe it was from crying too much in childhood. 😅 I tried rollers, putting products things in the fridge first, frozen-spoons, jelly eye-masks, etc.

I loosely fantasized about getting injections in the deep troughs, but dismissed it because I worry about migration, risks, and cost. I just accepted them and every day I use a bit of contouring to try to make them appear less obvious. (Although they still have a profile from the side.) I always include them in self portraits since they're such a constant.

So you can imagine I was pretty surprised when I woke up after my first time using these 2 products with flat under-eyes. Has anyone had this experience? I have used hydrating eye creams, but they didn't do anything like this.

I am guessing the low molecular nature of the HA causes it to penetrate deeper into the skin, though I thought that wording sounded a little bit gimmicky. If anything, I would have expected the tear troughs to puff up to meet the other areas, but my puffy bags are gone and the skin doesn't even feel tight.

I had long ago given up on this issue. Who knew I'd buy my HG from a nice guy on Facebook marketplace? 😂 For those of you out there with tenacious eyebags, I think this is definitely worth a try.
