My one month old som will be here tomorrow 9am… 12 more hours!!! I’m so nervous. My temps and humidity is perfect for cool and warm side. What can I do to make him trust me and so we bond perfect forever? Hehe IM SO EXCITED!!!! I need to know everything!! I know snakes aren’t “lovey” but I’d love to love him as best as possible.

It’s like a piece of hair. (Texture wise) I kinda tugged it because I didn’t know at first it was INSIDE the bum. Is this dangerous? Will he be okay?? It seems very long. I’ve left it alone. He’s very reactive and attentive. No lethargy or wincing when it got touched.

Here’s my plan!!
Left side, hot. | Ride side, cool.
•halogen bulb. •no lighting (heat lamp will have a heat guard)
• In the middle will be a non heat ShadeDweller %7 pro T5. I’ll have a thermostat inside as well.

For substrate I’ll do lava rocks BOTTOM, cover with window screen for water draining. About 6 inches of mixed coconut fiber, reptibark,(saturate till dripping) pack that down. Coco husk on top.

I’ll have three hides. Left, middle, right. Some cork bark to climb, a hemp hammock, lots of leaf litter, some branches and fake dollar store vines and plants. Water bowl on warmer side.

PLEASE anything I’m missing or please criticize my plan lol. Anything helps!!!

26F been doing this since I was a kiiiiiddd. I need it to stop. I’m a conventionally pretty women. I have a hard time tho feeling “feminine” due to my more rough habits. This being one of them. Many people notice hands and I’d love to knock this habit. Help!! (Thanks to the person who sent me this! I had no idea this subreddit existed. ❤️)

What are some cute names? I think she’s a girl because I can’t seem to find the “peen” gap in the legs towards the head. She’s so big! I wish my other 5 would come out hahahha

Ok. Brand new Built b series engine as of three months ago. Proper break in. 1998 Acura integra. Tuned, P28ECU . Runs e85. Been driving just fine other than some hoses easy fix tho. Two weeks ago this same thing happened when I turned it on, low LOW idle and check engine light. I turned it off and turned it back on and it idled fine and no engine light. It’s been driving perfectly ever since. I drive far a lot and do proper maintenance. It’s been driving perfectly fine until this morning. Same issue, check engine and an idle jumping up and down but very low, it even idled out and died. I disconnected battery and put it back and still same issue. No amounts of restarting car did anything. (Didn’t wanna ruin engine) My distributor is the only thing that hasn’t been replaced since like 3 engines ago. Anything else it could be? :(

My babes are not burrowing. Everything is “millipede perfect” great temps for both heat and humidity, soil really well wet/moist. It has layers. Climbing things, leaf litter, substrate as deep and even for mine a little deeper than they are long, good wood rot mixed in all over, moss on one side of tank. But they choose to only sleep on the top layer :/ I’m worried they’re stressed! I have two small guys in a 5.5 gal (babies) and they burrow just fine and have made tunnels and come up and down daily. I don’t want my adults to die over stress. It’s the same substrate they had when they were smaller and they did just fine so I’m confused.

I moved my bigger babies from a 5.5 gal to a 40gal almost a week ago. Same setup, very deep substrate, good humidity and temp, good rot. All of that. But they’re not burrowing. In the 5.5 they all burrowed or at the least made tunnels. But not anymore? They curl up and sleep in the corner now…? I’m wondering why.

I have two gold deserts and two choco deserts in the 40 gal.
