Eating Disorders

I've had an eating disorder for almost 2 years now, and it is ruining my life. It makes me feel super alone and invalid as a guy (I'm trans). if anyone else here has an ed, it would help a lot to hear your story or if you could share any tips/resources. How do you deal with the stigma of eating disorders being a "womens' issue"? how do you deal with the side effects? any reply appreciated.

how long will these take to fade?

I've been clean for 1 1/2 months and these scars are on my upper arm (sorry the angle is weird). I think they were all fairly minor, like shallow dermis-level except for the ones in the center which were only epidermis.

Scars in a job?

So I'm going to school to be a doctor (not in med school, but dual credit in hs), but I also have scars. I want to specialize in either surgery or emergency medicine, will this be a problem (especially in surgery)? if I can't get a job because of them, will all my school just be for nothing?

I love having depression (sarcasm btw)

summer depression is terrible bc lunchtime at school is the only thing preventing me from actively starving. I spend time in bed rotting too so I don't even exercise during the summer! YAY 😭 having an ed and depression so bad you can't get out of bed don't go together haha

[R] String Quartet No. 5- Philip Glass PDF?

Does anyone have a PDF of the parts of Philip Glass' String Quartet No.5? I have a student quartet that will just be playing this piece for fun and we don't have enough to buy the music ourselves 😭

How do I stop being embarrassed of my scars?

I have a lot of scars. Some are old, some are newer. I have some old ones on my wrist that aren't super obvious, but I'm still super insecure about them. The ones on my upper arm are newer, deeper, and much more visible. They are under my shirt sleeve most times, but whenever it gets raised up or I have to take off my shirt, I'm really embarrassed by them. It gets really bad sometimes and summer's coming up so... how do I stop being embarrassed by them?
