I would love to say that there’s counterplay but I really don’t think there is when the ogrepon in question can get one shot by altaria.
Are there things you can do? Yes. Is this fun or remotely fair at all? Nah. My opponent retreated out and just said “gamble the game on a 50/50 bc otherwise I’d lose, go!”
Maybe if the 50/50 took skill or effort to pull off, but no, it’s just more fucking heads.

Stop talking, I like the game overall and I’m here to complain. Nobody likes this meta and it’s not gonna go away in any of the future expansions if it remains as risk free as it is currently.
Bi male here (26), and It’s so difficult finding girls who don’t want to settle into a traditional dynamic. Online or in person I can make connections fine, but I have a solid financial base and career path that tends to get people thinking about having me as a provider, and it drives me sorta insane.
