So, In god of war 2018, there are 3 realms that odin has prevented access to. Asgard is obviously because odin didn't want outsiders in asgard, and vanaheim is prevented so the vanir can't find Freya and clear her name.

But why svartelheim? Nobody has a reason to go there, and the only one that do have a reason can literally bypass it by walking between the realms
