For the people buying PS5 solely for GTA 6…
It’s kinda silly and ridiculous people flocking to this sub to show off their brand new ps5 and GTA 6 being their sole reason to purchase. As if there aren’t hundreds of amazing games that have been out since the PS4 era that can’t be enjoyed. As if GTA 6 is the only game out there. There are even people who haven’t opened their console and are waiting to Nov 19th. SMH.
Here’s what I think. These people are going to get a harsh reality check this November.
There are 3 types of people who will play GTA 6 when it comes out:-
- Gamers who play a lot games and are very familiar with Rockstars previous entries. So this is a game they will appreciate.
- People who don’t game a lot but have played a lot of popular titles like GTA, RDR2 etc. They are well aware of how Rockstar makes their games and will adapt to the mechanics of the game pretty easily.
- The people whom I started this rant about. People who haven’t fully played any of the older GTA entries or RDR2. They will think that GTA is only about stealing cars and driving around. Yes. It could be but you’re wasting 7k if you’re gonna do just that. These people will be shocked when they start playing GTA 6. Rockstar has been chasing realism obsessively over their last few games. In fact you shouldn’t compare GTA 6 with GTA 5. You should compare it with RDR2. The amount of realism that was there in RDR2, it’s gonna be exponentially more in GTA 6. So stealing cars and driving around won’t be that easy. It will have its consequences. So much so that it might piss some people off. Not everyone is going to like too real. And wait till they find out they might need to fill gas in their cars.
So the last category people will play the game. Very few of them might actually finish the game. And if they finish, kudos to them. The others are gonna get bored and these 2 things will happen in this very subreddit. Mark my words:-
- People se**ing off the very same console they bought for GTA 6. Reasons being:- no time to play. Brand new console. Just been 3 months. And they will obviously place it at a ridiculous price for a used product.
- People se**ing their PSN accounts along with the console saying PS5 + PSN account with GTA 6. People who buy PSN accounts from others are a different breed entirely.
Hell I could be wrong or get downvoted. But come on as a PlayStation user since the PS2 era, it kinda pisses me off when PS5 gets marketed purely for GTA 6. I love GTA as much as the next guy but come on don’t act like there ain’t other games out there already or coming before GTA 6.

[Astro Bot & Astro’s Playroom] - Enjoyed seeing the features of Dualsense in the beginning. Wanted to throw the same Dualsense at the screen towards the end.
Whoever thinks Astro Bot is just an ad for PS5 is wrong. This is a fantastic game and worth the money… for people who are not trying to platinum.
When I was done collecting all the colelctibles, I was satisfied with the gameplay and was sure I’m gonna platinum it soon. In fact I was planning on adding Astro’s Playroom as my next platinum to finish the collection.
I was pretty proud of myself and then came the Great Master Challenge.
Instead of rewarding you for 100 percent completion like any game would, this game shows you the finger and gives you a level like never seen in the game before. I was so frustrated after dying countless times. This is not something you can learn to do from yt. In fact I died so many times in the first half of the section. I thought if I died here these many times, I’m definitely gonna die once I start reaching the second half of the level.
After countless tries and giving up multiple times, i decided to take a break. After 1 hour I had 5 mins before I had to go somewhere. So decided to give it a last try. And guess what?!? I still died. But on the very next try i managed to cross the first half of the level and beat the second half on that same try. I almost cried. In fact, i vowed I wouldn’t go for Astro’s playroom without Astro Bot plat because i would be disappointed in myself for showing off the easy one.
The next day I went for Astro’s playroom plat as well. And for once I didn’t wanna throw the controller at my screen and give Astro the real feel of Dualsense.

[Spider-Man 2] - A bit of a journey. Do read if interested
I used to post regularly in this community back in 2021 when I used to hunt for platinums on my PS4. But then I had to go to college, and I had to say adios to gaming and stop at 17 platinums.
I still played games when I came back home but never really had time to platinum games anymore. Then come 2024, I got my first job and bought a PS5. And obviously I got my hands on Spider-Man 2 because I was going nuts to check it out. In fact I watched the entire gameplay on YouTube in college and this was the first time I sat through a full gameplay video.
Anyways, I decided to go for the platinum. Spider-Man 2018 was my first even platinum on PS4 (or any PlayStation). And Spider-Man 2 was the first platinum on my PS5 (talk about full circle).
Once I saw this platinum trophy pop up, it took me back to 2021. And boy did it feel good to be back trophy hunting.
Since then for the last two years I’ve been back in the game and my plat count is up to 28 now. I will be sharing more of my plats soon. If you’ve read this far, thank you. You are a very patient person :)
