How do you find an octopus?

I’ve lived in the PNW for over five years now and I still haven’t found an octopus! Is there a science to it? I’m assuming you have to go to certain beaches at low tide and that raises your chances, but are there certain places that they live? Aren’t they usually hiding under large rocks? I appreciate any tips, I’ve always loved marine biology and I’m a bit ashamed I’ve never seen one IRL. I do my most hiking on trips to the peninsula, just in case finding them on the Strait is harder or different.

Purple stuffed animal bunny with plaid ears from the early 2000s. Jellycat?

I’ve been looking for this stuffed animal for years and finally found a photo of it. I know the pictures aren’t good but it’s the only ones I have of it. If someone has a lead, I will figure out how to email the file to myself from my computer (big hassle, busy week!) It’s a big stuffed animal bunny and the ears had purple plaid on the undersides. I think it was bought from Walmart around Easter in 2003/2004. It’s a chenille/soft fabric! It might actually be a US Jellycat since they were founded in 1999. I’ve searched everywhere for it and thought it was a MTY International, but it wasn’t exact, seemed too small, and it only came in pink. I will put that photo in the comments. I also posted this in the Help Me Find subreddit but with no luck.

Looking for a new laptop- advice? No AI (and question about current pricing)

I’m trying to buy a new laptop and I wanted some advice from the Pros of Reddit. I’m a student and a hobby photographer and would just need it for that and regular internet searches. My big problem is all of the computers have AI now… I don’t know the difference between AI RUN and “this one has AI, none is used if you just use a different browser.) I’m just looking for advice on computers that has good storage space, a backlit keyboard, and NO AI!! I’m not looking for advice to “suck it up” - I have my opinion, you have yours. If you have nothing helpful to say, then don’t waste your time! Anyways, I saw this thing recently about the price of RAM going up or something? Is this a really bad time to buy a computer? I wanted to buy a new one, and maybe splurge (like one of those 2-in-1/folding touchscreen laptops) but even the most basic, boring, AI-bombarded ones are almost a grand!!

What country/time period is this coin from? It’s a small copper coin with what looks like a petroglyph style man on it.

I found this coin years ago while rock-hunting. I don’t remember exactly where (just the US, if that’s even helpful?) I made a post in the subreddit for coin collecting and someone said I should post it here since it looks like it’s from the Byzantine or medieval time period? I couldn’t spot any writing or anything, just what looks like a petroglyph style man on it. What time period and country is it from? It seems to be a LOT older than I was anticipating.

Small copper coin with what looks like a petroglyph man on it? What country/time period is this from?

Found this while looking for rocks years ago. I don’t remember where/when. It looks like it has a petroglyph-like image of a man on it but I couldn’t find any writing or anything else on it! Does anyone know when this is from or what country? Thanks!

Where can I find cheaper vintage aluminum gliders?

I’m been looking for years and haven’t found vintage aluminum gliders anywhere that are actually cheap. My great grandmother had them and I loved them, so I’m hoping to find two of them that are similar to the photo. Is there anywhere in the PNW or Washington State area that sells them for less?

Spotted this tree on a road trip.. PNW

I was wondering what kind of tree this is? I could only find Google Earth photos and it looks like it changes drastically between June and July, or it gains color over the years? Any help is appreciated!

Hello Reddit, I have a weird question. I’m trying to figure out what kind of papers and records that were required to be kept regarding either: autopsies, organ removal, tissue samples, or incineration. If anyone knows information, or a helpful website, about ANY of those things, it would greatly appreciated. I don’t get much help over the phone since it’s such a weird question. Any laws and regulations for the 1970s, or 1972 in particular, is what I’m looking for. Whether that be a federal, state, county, or Loma Linda University requirement. I’m not in the medical field at all and just trying to figure out what records should have been kept so I can try to trace it back or contact specific departments and things. Thank you in advance for any information!

Im busy and lazy, so instead of using “AI”, I’m asking the people and how you turn it off on Spotify. I hate it and don’t want anything to do with it (and listen to too many songs I like reading the lyrics to which pulls up this “AI overview” that I don’t need.) How do you turn it off?
