Idk what to do
I’m a freshman in college and I’m absolutely miserable. School is awful (I’m passing but I hate it), I have the worst long distance relationship situation ever (she has to stay with a “cover” bf even tho she doesn’t like/love him because of her parents being awful towards her), and I have lost all my drive to do what I came here to do. So I’m thinking about leaving. I know I’m an adult technically but I figured this was the right place to post. Here’s the breakdown :
I have 6500+ 3100 in savings. I have a car but it is back with my family, and to do this I would have to pretty much cut them off, they are paying for my college but we are pretty well off so it’s in a dedicated account so it wouldn’t cripple them in loan debt or anything. I am a very long drive or a pretty short plane right from home. I was thinking I use some of that money to buy a used car, but I don’t know how valuable that used car would be compared to the money I would be paying for it.
If anyone has any questions or concerns or advice for how to handle any part of this, I’m all ears. I have absolutely no idea what to do.
