Red DRAM
Need some assistance. About to throw my PC out the window. Been at this for 2 days now….
Specs:
Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX Rev 1.2
AMD 9700X
Two Corsair Kits original was 2x32GB, bought a new 2x8Gb kit to rule out bad sticks
nvidia 5080
This build is about 2 years old.
One day after coming home I noticed my PC kept restarting. Went to check and it would not post. Can’t get into bios or anything. I’ve tried the following:
1.) reseat the ram
2.) used a single stick of ram in every slot
3.) flashed the bios using Q Flash to the latest F42 version
4.) cleared cmos
5.) replaced cmos battery
6.) reseat cpu
7.) tightened/loosened cpu
8.) bought a new ram kit and restarted memory training
Only common factor is that there is a red DRAM led on and after a few minutes the PC will restart… and continue to restart… I’ve left it on for 30+ minutes to no avail.
What are the odds that the mobo or cpu is bad at this point…?
Thanks for any input
