House keeping tips from the bachelors or those who lived the single life.

I dont see myself getting married in this life and I dont want to live off my mother for the rest of my life. I lived alone 6 years and a full time job plus eating healthy and keeping the home neat almost killed me.

The biggest thing for me is cooking and dishes when you are already tired after a full day .

Any advice for simple meals that are still healthy (minimal dishes minimal ingredients) an just general house keeping tips.

Any one else have trouble with getting ideas in the worst time/place and not knowing how to put it down and develop.

Hi, might just be me but maybe someone can help me.

Tell me a bit about your process, what do you do when you get an idea.

  1. When you get an idea where do you write it down

  2. What do you do with a long list of one liners

  3. Is it possible to take your 1 line idea and develop it later on ?

  4. Advice on a small portable instrument to develop the song anywhere at any time.

Struggling to find Brian Mays tone with the gear I have.

Fender twin Frankenstein with a deluxe reverb tube amp. Multi effects pedal and a fender guitar. Is there a way I can get closer to the solo of we will rock you .... besides getting better at playing guitar XD. What effects do you recomend I chain right now I have ZNR → T Scream → EQ → Hall/Room Reverb → Delay or this one was without the EQ I think. Idk is it my lack of skills ... it prob is.. but why does it always sound so high scratchy when i play the high notes

Is this normal for worship lead guitarists

Hi, I am trying to play lead guitar in a small church just starting out. Is it normal for worship lead guitarist to work out the song on the spot ? I was hoping they will tell me what to play all i know is a few scales how do i work out lead parts what is the basic thing i can do just to contribute something without sitting and work out complex riffs.

Edit: I am not very good at working out lead parts please give me advice, I did not specify the genre to be mocked. Should i ask for the song with its chords before hand or is this to much ?

Life does not come from non life

This idea came up in helping a brother that struggled to believe in Gods word on creation and it had me thinking deeper. God breathed life into adam, might it be that God didnt create life we as humans have but rather gave it to us. So God is life figuratively and literally.

Any other opinions on this way of thinking ?

Guitarist need some singing training

Hi, I have been writing some songs but i use other people to sing the melody I play. I want to improve from beginner to at least campfire acoustic singer. Do my own demos.

Is there an app you would recommend ? I discovered justin guitar a while back and was thinking something similar might be great for my voice.

I feel called to do some work for God but its not very clear on the how .

I dont see myself leading a church but had some success in leading a small bible study group. I already spend a lot of time in the word if its not reading its sermons and discussions/debate. I love talking about the word/debating.

Might missionary be the direction for me ? I am definitely not ready now but I am asking from a road selection point of view. For example should I do a course in this direction now that will lead me to this road in the future. I love camping my whole life which had me thinking that even though the rural places might be hard I will find some joy there.

Any advice from someone who has been down this road ? Would you recommend it and if so where can I start what studies should I do. I am from South Africa if it matters.
