My bamboo cutting board has mold. The board has a sentimental engraving, so I want to fix it. I have a toddler so I have no time to do this myself, but I could drop it off somewhere - I work in Manhattan on the west side and live in north brooklyn. I imagine there are carpenters who would do this! A quick Google brings up only high-end furniture restoration and I don’t imagine they’d care to take this on, and it would likely be too pricey for this. Anyone know of a more midrange option?

I have a 14 month old, and this year for my birthday I took a day off to do yoga, get a massage, and get a sushi lunch with my husband. It was nice! But I miss getting a cake and blowing out candles, do we even do that anymore? I’m over 40 so maybe it’s my age group. It made me curious - what do other moms do for your birthdays?

Like I can’t consume any new information. My head is too full of the drip drip drip of project plans at work, calendar invites, decision making conversations, play date schedules, meal plans, nap schedules. I’m sure this is also true of full time moms. My husband is a full time dad and takes on so much household stuff and I’m still overwhelmed. Work is one big set of info: people and conflicts to navigate, decisions to make, the work itself. Home is another: nap times, remembering where stuff is, knowing what’s in the fridge. I’m so tired of it and I want to just focus on one thing. I guess I just want feel less alone. Who else feels like this?

After completing my 2025 taxes, my payments are now $0/month. I have a nonprofit full-time job. Each month, I get an email from Mohela saying my autopay is scheduled. But when I looked at my payment history, the $0 payments don’t show up. Are they counting toward PSLF?

I am trying to avoid calling Mohela and hoping someone here has a definitive answer!
