is he being avoidant because i pushed him away?

Hi, I (F27) started seeing someone (M30) recently, and I felt like we were moving very quickly early on.

We started seeing each other about a month and a half/two months ago, and have been on maybe 4 or 5 dates since, but have been intimate since our 3rd date. I had a bit of a panic and retreated after that date, and even ended it. He took it well, said that it's okay, etc. Just 3 days later, I reached out to him and said I'd like to continue to see him. He thought about it briefly and forgave me, and we continued to see each other. It has been two weeks since that happened, and we have seen each other four times since (not all dates--he came over once, I went to his house once).

Before that happened, I was seeing him maybe two or three times a week, and we were actively texting throughout the day. Nothing excessive, but we were still getting to know each other over text, with both of us asking questions, etc. Now I'm lucky if I get three or four texts from him a day. He also recently said he can only see me once a week, as he has other priorities (work, friends, sports, etc.). I should note that he is very securely attached and I have not detected any avoidance from his side, but this shift has me feeling a bit stressed.

Is he doing this as a result of my avoidance? Is he less interested now than he was before? Am I too in my head about it and need to relax? We are not exclusive but I am not seeing other people (I don't know if he is). I just feel myself deactivating and shutting down again. I don't want to stop seeing him, but I'm not feeling very good about myself or this situation anymore. I downloaded dating apps again and I feel like it would be easier to just start over with someone new, but I don't want to go back to those patterns anymore. I don't know where to go from here.

i don’t want to match outfits with my friend :(

turkish eggs (cilbir) 😋

my best friend is coming with me to a cousin’s wedding in a few weeks. she doesn’t have any formal enough dresses so i sent her a pic of the dress that i got for the occasion. it’s a beautiful light yellow silky dress, think the dress from how to lose a guy in ten days. i feel so hot in it. problem is, now she wants to buy something that ‘matches that dress’ so we can look ‘cohesive’ because it would be cute in her opinion. she showed me a pic of her and a friend wearing dresses that have a similar silhouette and said ‘like this, isn’t it cute?’ but the thing is, she always tries to show up and out and it’s kind of competitive. i really don’t want to feel like i’m competing, i just want to look good and feel good in my dress. is this unfair of me? i had an experience with a narcissistic friend before who always wanted to one-up me, and this is one of the ways she would do it, so i’m a bit triggered by this now, the matchy-matchy stuff. should i say something? idek what to say to be honest without sounding like a brat lol

How soon can I shower after getting stitches removed?

hi! i had a fairly large epidermoid cyst removed from my chest a couple of weeks ago. it required internal stitches and also stitches on the outside, which i got removed yesterday. my RN who removed it did not specify when i’m supposed to shower. there’s a little internal stitch that’s poking through the surface, which might dissolve if i’m not mistaken? so i’m guessing it’s still open? i don’t know lol help should i shower or wait another 24-48 hours? thanks

bathroom use in repeat assignment

hi everyone! i had a question about school policy and bathrooms? lol ive been subbing for one teacher a lot. i met him when i went for a half day assignment and he said he needs a whole lot of shifts picked up so now i’m in his class at least once a week, sometimes 2-3.
i’m getting pretty annoyed with the front office lady who told me i wasn’t allowed to use the teacher’s bathroom, which has a key code on it, but instead i have to walk all the way across school to come use the bathroom in the main building. the staff restroom is three doors down from the class i’m in, so it’s frustrating. they won’t give me the code because it’s the same one that opens the front gate apparently, so it’s a safety concern??
i’m also on medication right now that requires i keep hydrated, so sometimes i have to call someone to come in and cover for me while i go. it would be a lot easier to just run between classes.
would it be weird or a bad look to ask the teacher i sub for for the bathroom code? should i just suck it up and just keep doing what im doing? its the end of the year so stakes are low but still. i have a lot of respect for this teacher and love his classes.
has anyone had this experience before?
thanks!
