New to F150 platform

Hello all! I am contemplating going over to a new f150, never owned a Ford before. It is likely I'll be trading in a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a 2017 Toyota Tundra (no issues with either, just wanting to combine both into one newer full size truck). It would be my wife's daily driver (lots of short city drives during the week). Towing would be required just once in a while.

Currently I'm leaning toward the Tremor for it's off road capabilities.

Should I go with the twin turbo v6 or the coyote V8? How has ownership been for you all? I'm seeking reliability (my tundra has 200k miles all problem free) so would this be a good platform for that?

Thanks for any input you may have!

Engine ticking/tapping noise anyone? 2023 GC Summit V6

Has anyone ever experienced this in any capacity?

Happened to me sometime in March, vehicle was parked outside. I would say morning temps were averaging 40s to 50s back then. Initial start up is fine, but when driving and giving it gas at low speeds I could hear a ticking noise with the rising rpm. The more rpm, the more ticking. Seemed to go away once the engine warmed up. Has not done it since, and ive had an oil change since then. Seems to drive just fine otherwise.

The car currently has about 46000 miles.

Thanks for any input!

So I still need to get this done, does anyone know of any trusted dealerships in the DFW area to complete this and get it done right the first time? How long would something like this take?

I am just picky with dealerships, so any input would be appreciated thanks!

Just looking to see if anyone had any ideas for this in town? I may be doing all online classes this fall, so I thought id just test the waters and see what there was. Id be available for maybe 4 to 5 months.

Thanks!
