Need help identifying houseplant

My mother gifted me this plant in a different sized container as a gift. Plant was much smaller back then, I don't think my mom would still have the receipt from that long ago.

I recently have repotted it, and realized I actually don't know what type of plant it is. I keep this potted plant next to the window and water it every so often.

I'm wondering how big this plant will grow, and if later on it could be a safe addition for a bioactive terrarium?

Location is MA, but this plant came from a store so it could have been from anywhere.

Seeking advice

Hello everyone! I'm an avid backyard birdwatcher who also feeds the squirrels and chipmunks.

I have 5 bird feeder poles each equipped with different sized bird feeders and water trays attached. I have it arranged in a way that will prevent crowding and discourse between the differently sized birds.

I take turns on what type of foods I put out. I will use commercial wild bird seeds and suet, roasted unsalted peanuts, with-the-shell peanuts, and thawed frozen fruits and veg. If I have no funds for food, I just make sure to clean and refill the water bowls.

Someone recently told me that roasted peanuts are actually bad for the squirrels? And that letting the wild birds enjoy a little naturally fermented apple is like "opening a bar in a city of addicts"??

I'm just wondering what y'all feed your critters. Any advice is appreciated.

Are barnacles like the ticks of the sea?

You see them on ships, you see them on whales, you see them on rocks, you see them on wood. Wherever they can attach it seems, they will grow!

Hell, even that Monsters Inside Me show had an episode where this dude had barnacles painfully growing in his hand. Microscopic barnacle babies got into it via a cut or scratch idk.

Agnostic difficulties

Back when I was still young and in church, I assumed that everyone just pretended that God was real, and could use him to their advantage if they just twisted the words enough. I believed that since age 5.

At age 13 I was shocked that this was not the case. The elders at the Jehovah's witnesses congregation did NOT like that I believed this. It was almost like they were angrily shocked. I even went into detail about how fairly common it would possibly be to have members that don't really believe in god either but stay in the religion to keep their community and family close. On top of the fact that the JW's had such a strong disfellowship policy back then that it would just naturally be easier to lie and keep going with the facade.

I also very honestly stated that I never believed in god, but pretended just to make the adults happy. Believing in God or not isn't what brings people to the church anyways. The elders threatened me (a child at the time btw) with disfellowship if I kept speaking and believing this way.

I told them that many people hated Jesus for telling the truth. 🤷 They all ended the meeting right there. It's been many years since and I'm still rethinking that conversation.

Executive dysfunction and paying bills

Hello everyone. I work doingdoordash. I love Doordash because I can choose my own hours, which is such a big help for me. But now I feel like that freedom is causing its own issues.

I have a car insurance bill that's past due, I know I should have been working to pay towards it. I know that working is important. I've been internally screaming at just how much I've been fighting myself.

What is this?! I feel like I'm fighting my own bodily autonomy. I \*need\* to work and pay this bill. But then my body just.. doesn't. I hate it. I really do. It's caused issues my entire life. How do I break out of this? ??

Do my cats care that I'm autistic?

I was diagnosed just before my 27th birthday. Now I worry that despite all the good care I put into my fur babies, it might all be for naught.

They've put up with my vocal noises and stimming activities for 8 years before I knew.

My BDFB enclosure

I have 11 Blue Death Feigning beetles in this enclosure. 4ftL×2ftW×1 1/2ftW, used to house the neighbors bearded dragon but I cleaned it up. Since they're such roaming-heavy scavengers I figured they would appreciate the walking space.

I can't tell you how active these blue guys are! I love them to bits. I'd take in more if they were available, but I don't trust petco selling them.

Is it wrong to provide cold tap water to the wild birds outside?

I have multiple bird feeders and love watching the birds enjoy the seeds and suet. I like to offer them cold cold water on especially hot days. Idk, I feel like if I had a high metabolism and weighed 4 grams and it was 90°F heat outside, I'd appreciate it.

My neighbor says the birds don't need cold water, and that giving them tap water from my kitchen sink is "spoiling them" and preventing them from doing wild nature things. I feel like he's just complaining, but is the fluoride in the tap water bar for the birds?

Why did we get rid of the penny? Does it have any historically concerning significance?

I don't know, it just feels weird. Plus, the rounding up or down really doesn't make it any better either.

Threads hasn't worked for me for over a month

I've done every possible option, with no success. I've changed my password twice. I've cleared storage and cashe on both insta and threads, uninstalled, reinstalled, re logged in. Nothing.

I made the mistake of removing threads from the meta accounts management area and now I cant log into threads at all. My Instagram info is all the same but it keeps saying incorrect password.

At this point I'm accepting to just give up on my account and never having access to it again.

I'm sad :( I really liked threads a lot.

My phone is a Moto G Pure
