Do partnered women not want to be friends with me?
Context: I'm late 20s, in a "settle down raise a family" kind of town. I never had a problem making friends until I moved here.
When I was dating someone, fine. When I was living with another single woman and everyone thought we were lesbians, weird energy but fine.
Now everyone knows I'm single and my roommate moved out, I never get invited to anything. When I do it's all just couples and the way they treat me makes me feel ostracized. A girl I thought was a good friend told me "cut the shit, everyone wants a husband" when I said it's really ok that the dating situation ended.
I'm looking at myself but I'm not seeing any difference between me when I got invited to things and me now except the assumptions made around my dating life. Is this all in my head or do partnered women my age just not want to hang out with single women? Please be gentle, I'm having a lonely time without friends rn
I can't understand what kids are saying
I don't get how people have full conversations with the same kids I can't understand, the kids are always mumbling and sometimes they can't make words properly yet anyway, how are people doing this 😅😅😅 I feel like there's some kind of intuitive way of communicating with kids that I'm just missing, even when I was a kid myself
My cat spends ages burying after she goes, before I got her a cabinet for it she flung half the litter all over my floor. Thankfully she loves the cabinet so that keeps a lot of it in but I feel like I have to check it all the time to make sure she's not left herself an empty box with one massive pile of litter in a corner.
I'm not worried about it, she seems happy with it and I think if I don't get to it first she just redistributes it herself or goes in her corner pile. Maybe she likes going in her corner pile and I keep messing it up?? I'm just curious if all cats do this, I've seen used litter boxes before but never with a pile in one corner like she does 😅
