The absolute best leaf

The absolute best leaf

Ten milkweed tussock caterpillars are on this single leaf on one of my massive milkweed plants. Clearly this is the very best leaf.

“I’m just clumsy, I swear.”

I spend an unreasonable amount of time assuring people that the bruises covering my legs, knees, elbows (everywhere!!) are from me repeatedly and unintentionally body-checking inanimate objects, not from violence inflicted by another person.

Doorframes and furniture edges: 162
Me: 0.

Yes, I see these objects every day in my own home. No, I cannot stop myself from bumping into them.

I’m sure one of you has a horror story about this sort of thing. Not yet for me.

Tall girl hem problem

Hello friends - I recently purchased a pair of Alexander McQueen pinstripe wool trousers for a ridiculously low price. They fit, but the 28” inseam has them at ankle length on me. Is this enough hem allowance to let it out? Will I be able to get the crease to relax?

I can pull off wearing them around the office as-is but they’ll have to be longer if I want to wear them to court. Judges can be weird like that.

How absolute dare

Luna reminds you to check product dimensions before purchasing. Doggo bed is too small for a chihuahua.

Who favorited this?

Direct listings strikes again. First of all, I’m positive this thing smells like mothballs. Second, there’s probably a Pan Am boarding pass from 1967 tucked away in there. Third, are we buying a vintage suitcase or screenshots of a vintage suitcase?

Crimes against product photography

Nothing says “buy with confidence!” quite like a $175 mystery garment photographed from 30 feet away and presented with all the visual clarity of a Bigfoot sighting. These direct listings are something else.

Yeehaw!

Apparently, Reddit recommending this community to me was a terrible idea for my wallet. I had no clue these elaborate popcorn buckets were even a thing until I saw someone else’s post about the AT-AT one (I have not gone to the movie theater in years, alas!). I went and got my own AT-AT and now I’m pretty sure I’m about to spend way too much money on these things.
