Feel great but have huge set backs

I developed mcas after a covid infection 2022. First 2 years I couldnt function or even knew what drs or routes to take. Now im working full time, and have minimum if not any symptoms. Every now and then I will have a flair up from something though. This last weekend I went out with friends and had about 5 white claws in a 9 hour period. I didnt feel intoxicated. I went to bed and I felt fine before and woke up with a huge flair up. Anxiety, blood pooling, hyper adrenaline pots like symptoms. I realize alclhol is a big no no with mcas. My question is how is this now the only thing im reacting to? My biggest help with mcas over the past 2 years has been tirzepatide and remeron for those wondering what im taking. Hydroxyzine also in the mix but havent taken that in probably a year.

Recovered after infection of November 2022

I got covid right around Thanksgiving of 2022. Infection was not horrible just typical flu like symptoms. One week after the infection I instantly started having severe symptoms like shortness of breath, panic attacks, visual snow, vision had a green tint at night, suicidal thoughts that didnt seem like my own, dpdr, anaplylaxis from food, PEM, unable to drive, burning all over my body, extreme fight or flight responses to everything. I quickly lost 30 lbs in a matter of weeks and progressively kept getting worse. I would drink alcohol to try and stop the fight or flight and for a minute it would work but then I would have a huge flair up of symptoms. Basically for about 2 years this went on. I was unable to work, lost a girlfriend of 10 years, had my personal family doubt me, and lost almost all friends.

There are a few things that I believe were the root cause of my long covid. At month 3 I took a lyme test and I had a confirmed positive 4 sperate times. I had lyme when I was a kid and my dr thinks covid most likely altered my immune system and allowed the pathogen to come back out. The problem was I couldn't take doxy because of the MCAS so I basically brushed it off. I knew all of my symptoms were not lyme related because this happened directly from covid.

I thought of the possibility of mold causing my symptoms since I live in an older house with some mold in the basement but still not convinced because I never had a symptom my whole life. Covid did something to my immune system to where lyme and mold were not being dealt with correctly.

I would spend hours researching what to take or do.

Things I tried were,

  1. Ivermectin- defiantly reduced inflammation and calmed down the heavy burning all over.

  2. Hydroxychloroquine- didnt notice anything from this

  3. Anti histamines- very hit or miss and sometimes made symptoms worse

  4. Low dose thc from live rosin- defiantly helped with calming my nerves but made me almost bed bound the next day

  5. Mitrazapine (Remeron)- this made a huge difference in all of my symptoms. Extremely potent H1 antihistamine. Feels 20x stronger then benedryl or hydroxyzine and will make you sleep the whole night. Helped with anxiety and depressive episodes as well.

  6. Cromolyn- helped mcas but not as good as I woukd have wanted.

  7. T3 thyroid- gave me energy but had to be very careful with dosing because of the energy demand.

  8. Tirzepatide- Best treatment i took. Compeltely eradicated 98 percent of symptoms. All gut related and mcas symptoms gone. Makes you a little tired. Can cause slight anhodenia but not nearly as bad as what long covid anhodenia felt like.

  9. Vyvanse- I have taken this drug since highschool. During my time witb long covid I used it differently. I used it only a few times a week and lowered my dose. I believe it can help but only after your out of the hyper adrenaline state

  10. Xanax- works amazing for hyper adrenaline. Only took when absolute necessary. Didn't want to become dependant

  11. Ketotifen- hit or miss. Usually takes months to start working great.

  12. Truvada- this defiantly did something. I took it for about 3-4 months and had a reduction in symptoms.

  13. Nitazoxanide- definetly helped. Can be also used for an active infection

  14. Fomatodine- helped stop histamine bombs.

  15. TRT- not sure how much this helped honestly. I found that lowering estrogen actually made much more of a impact then adding in testosterone.

  16. Electrolytes- major improvements. Helped keep my muscles from constantly burning.

  17. Lumbrokinase- worked well for blood flow

I tried all of these. The one that stood out the most was tirzepatide. I had already got to about 85 percent better when I tried this. It was the final thing that cured me. Since then ive ran a few half marathons, work out in the gym regularly and work full time. No panic attacks or insane mental health problems. Most of that was from MCAS. I think that the covid spike protein continues to circulate in the body long after infection and the body basically reacts the same exact way as is would to mold. Eventually the spike lvls lower and symptoms subside. This is why vaccine injury and long covid have almost identical symptoms. And for the lyme I had, ive tested myself 3 times this year so far and all are negative. Im not sure how I dealt with that but im assuming when my immune system came back on, it lowered the bacteria load. I have 0 symptoms as of today.

Next day effects

I have been using cannabis a few times a week for a while now. One issue im having is no matter how much I consume, the next day I have bad fog. Even a cbd strain with lower thc causes this. I feel unmotivated, lack of energy, sometimes serious brain fog where I feel disoriented for the first few hours of waking up. Even taking my adhd meds gives me no relief. Does anyone have any remedies for next day effects that are lingering?

Vivo sun tent

I have a vivosun ten 2x2 set up for my first grow. I notice that I am defiantly getting some smell coming out if it even with the carbon filter full speed. Is ACinfinity that much better then vivosun? I realized my tent is also so small it can barely handle 1 plant. Im looking to eventually upgrade after this plant

T3 5 mcg

I just took a 5mcg pill of t3 and WOW. I was not expecting that type of energy rush from that. Its almost to much. I feel like running a marathon. The afternoon slump has been obliterated. How long will this last?

Tirzepatide and vyvanse

Anyone on glp1 type medications that has noticed a decrease in effectiveness from vyvanse? I know glps can effect dopamine signaling and reduce or blunt the rise of dopamine from things that stimulate it. I feel like vyvanse is working about half the strength since I started tirzepatide.
