What do you guys think of my great league team?

I've been playing the pvp for a long time but I've never posted on this sub so I thought I'd give it a shot. I use: a Swampert with mudshot as a light attack and hydro cannon + sludge as heavy, an obstagoon with counter as a light attack and cross chop + night slash as heavy, and finally a corviknight with sand attack as a light attack and air cutter + payback as heavy. Its gotten me pretty far, I'm rank 20 now, but I noticed that further in its not always doing me as well as it used to. There are still times where I'll win like 4/5 of my battles, but there are many where I'm winning 2/5 or even 1/5 on bad days. So honestly I'm not sure if I'm just stagnating because I'm at a high rank, or if maybe my team is not as good as it could be. Are there any substitutions you guys think I should make?

Is the game too hard for my dad?

My dad has been saying he wants to try and get into gaming with me recently, and we haven't played anything together since black ops 2 on the Xbox 360 like 10 years ago, and even that he wasn't great at. But I've always wanted to play it takes two and it sounds like a game he might enjoy. I just don't know if it's for more experienced or at least average skill level gamers, cuz my dad is a true beginner.

Any advice for manhunt or capture missions on arenas?

Everytime I do these missions I'm usually wayyyy way over the time by the end of it, like for most I get like 1 or no stars. But I don't think I'm bad at the game, I routinely three star the performance and survival modes so I'm just not sure. I always try and rush through the manhunt or capture missions which ends up screwing me over cuz I make mistakes, but then obviously when I take my time I still do bad. It just sucks cuz I feel like they parry a lot of my moves since I'm always rushing to kill them quickly.

Increasing buddy level should decrease the walking requirement for getting candy

I'm sure other people have already had this kind of idea, but it's been bothering me so much lately. Right now I have a meltan as my buddy and I'm trying to evolve it into melmetal, I know there's some other way to do it besides farming candy by using pokemon home or something but I don't really have access to that so I'm doing it the old fashioned way by farming rare candies. The 400 candies is just so much, and the real slap in the face is that meltan needs to wall 20km before finding ONE candy. It would be so much better if having your buddy as a best friend would decrease the walking requirement by like 50% or something. Because other than that like what is the purpose of having a pokemon be your best friend. Sure you get the ribbon and the tiniest CP boost, but other than catch assist (which you get way earlier) I feel like there's not too much of an incentive to level up your friendship level with buddy pokemon and decreasing walking requirements would up that incentive so much, and it makes powering up legenderies a lot more accessible to people who can't farm rare candies.
