Small fixes, back from Holidays

After an extensive 4 weeks of motorcycle riding I am back and working on myfleet.gg again!

during my absence I got reports of the kraken not working on WebGPU as well as a MIS(c)-manufactured (pun intended) MISC Starlite. Both are fixed, Enjoy your Krakens 🐙

Feel free to send further feedback or issues you find here or on GitHub!

Material system, Mobile editing

Did you know you can switch between simple shading and full-on materials in myfleet.gg?

Only if your hardware can handle it, a few ships are usually fine, the more you have, the harder it goes. Mobile phones are not a huge fan, if your view crashes, you got too much on screen ;)

Also with the latest update, editing on mobile is back, The new annotation system has some... 'complexities' on mobile, but determined users will figure it out for now.

Screenshots also got a bugfix, originally you HAD to select a crop area, now you can just click "capture" and it will make a nice 4k screenshot for you, hardware permitting.

Also fixed some ships:

  • the missing Ironclad Assault has been found
  • M80 can now deploy its might
  • 300 Series and 100 series now look their part
  • Carrack got its wings back
  • Nox now looks like a Nox

Please post any bugs you find

Rebuilt myfleet.gg on WebGPU — ship colorization and annotation tools are in too

Just pushed a major myfleet.gg update.

- **Ship colorization** — ships now sport their defualt livery, selectable liveries on the horizon

- **Performance regression** — Performance significantly lower with the newer more detailed models :) Looking to optimize that in future versions

- **WebGPU rendering** — rebuilt the renderer on WebGPU to combat the performance regression

- **Experimental features** — Comes with a host of experimental rendering features, feel free to play around

- **Annotation tools** — drop labels and callouts directly onto your 3D scenes

- **Edit mode** — Dedicated editing mode to build scenes

As usual, free, browser-based, no install: https://myfleet.gg

Would love to see what you build with it — share your scenes in the comments or over on r/myfleetgg.

PS: Thinking about an optional login with the usual suspects (Discord, Google, ...) so you can save your scenes on the server. Any interest in that?
