Sap falling on my car because my parking spot is under a tree. How to protect my car?

I can’t change my parking spot. It’s my first year at tjis apartment building and I just bought a 2017 Lexus es I want to really take care of. How could I protect my car? I’m not sure when the tree will stop shedding, and luckily I don’t drive so much in the summer. Can I throw some tarp or plastic on my car while it’s parked? What would you recommend? Or should I just leave it uncovered and wipe it down with alcohol once in a while?

Need advice! Should I get this one?

I commute on the highway to get to work and mostly highway driving. I live in a place where winters are long and snowy. My main concern is quietness though. I’m highly sensitive and the noise in my Honda civic was just too much.

I went out used car shopping yesterday and the very best value I found (well maintained, getting a lot of safety, value, and quietness for the money) was an incredible Mercedez Benz E 400 4Matic 6 cyl. Driving it feels so comfortable; and most of all, so quiet. It’s a 2016 and looks like new. It had been kept in a garage and maintained so well.

I’m looking at older « luxury (initially wanted a Lexus ES 2016-2017 but couldn’t find any in my town) » because I can’t afford new luxury cars that would have the sound insulation I’d want. I’d like to hear from you if you think I’m going to regret it once the maintenance costs add up, and the issues start happening. Even though I think I couldn’t find another luxury vehicle of this year in this condition for this price (I’d pay 4-5K more for the same year and mileage Lexus I think), I have to consider the cost of a Mercedes and premium gas. I have no experience with this and neither does my family.

What would you suggest for me?

What car is quiet on the highway to listen to audiobooks while commuting?

I don’t have an enormous budget. I drive around 20000km a year, mostly on the highway. I’d love modern safety features like BSM, and would like to have adaptive cruise control. I’m ready to let those go for a quieter car though.

I read that I should be looking at an older Lexus (which model and year though?), Subaru legacy, a VW Golf or Jetta, and perhaps a Mazda 3. I heard sedans are better than an SUV for a quiet cabin on the highway (I know to make sure I have good tires). I’d like safe and relatable too. What would you recommend for me? Budget is up to 25K. In Quebec so something that is good in winter. Thank you!!!
