what’s a cheap shampoo/conditioner you stand by?

my hair is around tailbone length and is largely healthy aside from split ends for the most part, and while i’ve only used drugstore products, i’m not sure i’ll be able to afford them once i go to uni (or at least until i find a job down there)

just wondering what cheaper products people have used that haven’t torn their hair to shreds really :)

thanks!

how do you guys package books?

i’m away to move to uni in september, and i have a lot of books that i haven’t touched in years that i doubt i will care about any more in five years time when im done with uni, so im looking to get rid of them

vinted seems like the right idea, clearing out while getting dosh for spending while i save from my job

but how would i package them? obv i don’t want them to get damaged in transit, that sucks on the receiving end

but for single books not box sets, i don’t think i can put them in shoe boxes, a box would be too big, but bags would get them damaged (like i can put a t shirt in a carrier bag, sure, but a book?)

idk, i don’t have enough boxes to do all of these, but i don’t want to spend a tonne of money on those padded bags from the post office

how much loan will i get???

!!! I AM A SCOTTISH STUDENT, I WILL NOT RECEIVE SFE !!! DIFFERENT SYSTEMS !!!

im trying to apply for my SAAS right now and am really confused by the thresholds and how much loan i will actually receive

i live in a single parents household, where the amount EARNED is less than 20k for the necessary tax year

this would put me in the band which receives full loan and bursary , awesome!

however, due to universal credit and child maintenance paid by my dad, this would throw me just over 34k i believe? i haven’t totalled it up. obviously, it’s still household income, but it would mean i receive no bursary and a grand less of loan

maybe it makes me sound like i think im entitled, but i didn’t realise that UC/maintenance would be considered and this throws off what i was expecting to have in first year to afford my accom, groceries, etc

I KNOW BEING A STUDENT IS HARD AND MEANS I’LL BE BROKE FOR A FEW YEARS, AND THAT IM NOT ENTITLED TO ANYTHING - YES I PLAN ON WORKING EITHER WAY

does anyone have any experience with anything like this? i don’t have anyone around me who has gone to uni/is applying in the same situation as me

im kind of freaking out

thanks!

where are we buying piercing aftercare? (UK)

maybe not the best title or flair, my apologies

but i got my conch and tragus pierced on tuesday, bought studex spray to save myself waiting to receive anything from amazon or making salt potions in my kitchen

didn’t think much of it, got home, read ingredients, not sure about that one

looked online, consensus is to not use it. okay!

neilmed spray is what everyone’s talking about, cool, i don’t have amazon prime, don’t want to pay for shipping. hm. check neilmeds website! cool, free shipping, same price for product

inkling of doubt. check trust pilot (my holy grail). bugger. 2.2 stars, bad reviews, will i receive my spray? stay tuned to find out

(but in all seriousness, am i better just stomaching it and getting it from amazon? i can’t seem to find it in any drugstore/supermarket)

what do we think about the placement of my tragus?

got my conch repierced and tragus pierced today with 8mm titanium labrets, but just want to be sure about my tragus as the piercer did mention that i didn’t have a tonne of space going on there, but was pretty confident about going ahead with it
