Handheld emulator recommendations

Good evening guys, I'm new to the emulator world. I've looked up some reviews on YouTube, and saw some buyer comments on sites like Amazon, eBay, and AliExpress, but I wanted recommendations from people who actually know about the subject. I'd like a handheld emulator, focused on PS1 and PS2 games, to play during my free time at work, in bed on cold days, in an Uber, and times like that. I'm not a fan of playing on my phone.

Starting over at 30

I first picked up the bass when I was around 14. I took lessons for a year, but I got caught up in the excitement of joining a youth band my teacher was putting together. So, instead of teaching me music theory, we spent that entire year just learning a repertoire. Like any teenager, the way that ended was dramatic and traumatic for me, and I never touched a bass again—though the desire to play an instrument never really left me.

Five years ago, itching to get back into playing, I bought myself a guitar for my birthday: a 2010 Custom Shop Firebird. As fun as it was, I always felt the neck was too small, the finger placements... until I finally realized that what I actually wanted was to have fun playing the bass again.

Then, in January of this year, I was mindlessly browsing instruments and stumbled upon this Thunderbird. I've been crazy about this specific model and color since I was a kid, so when I saw it right there, I had no choice but to buy it.

I couldn't be happier or feel more fulfilled. It's so much fun to play, and yes, I'm already looking for a teacher to teach me the theory side of things and make up for lost time. Making dreams come true is just the best feeling!

I thought that since it was a pre-sale it would be easy to buy, I accessed it at 10 am sharp, bought tickets for myself and my girlfriend, but apparently the tickets sold out in seconds and several friends were left out.
